Those of you who are waiting might want to make sure to recheck your order details on the My Tesla account. I just happen to notice that when the guy went in to change my order from AWD to RWD (he said he had to initially order it as such, and then it would take a day or two to change on the website), he must have also changed me from the 18" aero wheels to the 19" sport wheels!
I just realized about the home link not a feature thing. The change happened on 5/31. I ordered 5/21, and many of your ordered before 5/31. Will you try to get this instead for free? Or just leave it be and take loss?
Since it was listed as a feature when I ordered the car, I think it's only appropriate that they honor the agreement.

There is a discussion here: HomeLink Availability
People have reported they ordered before the 5/31 deadline and had HomeLink on delivery. Including cars that were produced in June.
There is a Twitter that posts when Tesla registers for new VINs in batches. They just tweeted this morning there was another batch of VINs registered around half of which are dual motor and none that are international. Possibly VINs for our batch?
Model 3 VINs on Twitter
So you're saying there's a chance??
Wow this is like the 3rd time I've heard this. Keep tabs on your account everyone. Mine looks good so far.Tesla made a change to my account and now my LR RWD shows 19" sports instead of 18" aeros. What's going?View attachment 418052 View attachment 418069

Of course this also added $1500 to my order that I didn't notice until just now. I guess it's a good thing I don't have my VIN yet. I have the original order agreement AND the confirmation email when I first ordered the car that both show the 18" aero wheels as my choice. I'll have to call tomorrow and have them correct it.
I really don't want the 19" sport wheels, even if they offer them to me for free. I've heard they go through tires at a MUCH higher frequency, and I would prefer the efficiency boost of the aero caps, which I don't mind the look of.
I'm wondering for both of you, did the image of the car on your account reflect the 19" wheels as well?Tesla made a change to my account and now my LR RWD shows 19" sports instead of 18" aeros. What's going?View attachment 418052 View attachment 418069

I mean cool? But like not? How can they just force a different config on you because it'll come quickerMy salesperson just called (after I emailed) and said that the 19" would be delivered sooner and with a discount. Getting more details on what that means.
