Fyi for those hoping that they ll do away with the yoke someday
Revised Tesla Model S Will Only Come With A Yoke, Says Musk
I hoping a company will come out with a replacement or offer a modifcation. My biggest concern with the yoke is for spirited driving when you want to flick the wheel, or catch it mid slide or just catch the car if you happen to get out of control (it happens).. Im also looking for ways to turn the traction nannies off for track or fun.. Would love if there were to be an aftermarket module released eventually..

The SA that helped me today In Orlando was pretty nice. He did look up my reservations in the system. The system has the names of your delivery specialist and your assigned sales advisor.

A couple of the advisers were just standing around and a couple more were meeting folks who came in for test drives.

I know many car salesmen in traditional dealerships, but I rarely recognize anyone at Tesla. Often they’re in college and move on to better jobs. I stopped at the Porsche dealership too, and it was nice to see familiar faces.

If you find a helpful SA at a Tesla Store, make sure you get their contact information.

I am still showing a EDD of July this morning. Unless the car is already on its way to South Florida I don't see any chance of receiving the car by the end of this week. And, I would think if the car was already on its way I would have received a VIN by now - which I have not. I am expecting my EDD to go blank or to August any moment now.
I have the same. I spoke with people at SC back on Friday and they said “this is pretty accurate info” 😂

I always wonder why when they are looking at accounts they look really “concerned” like they can see the production plan and when the car will go out the of the factory but they also have a big red flag there and note next to it like “provide to the customer as incorrect info as possible, do not tell them the truth!”

As I said, last Friday they told me “seems like your car is about to be assembled”. But in tesla language, I assume it can mean anything like “your car will be here in January”.

Also, they told me, when ill get a VIN ill be able to schedule delivery as soon as in the next 24-48 hours. Does it mean when you are getting a VIN the car is around the corner and just wait? I don't know.

Yes this is true. If you are in VA and referred someone else in VA nobody gets anything. However, if the person was in Maryland, the MD person would get the 1000 miles of SC credit and the VA person would still get nothing. I use to live in VA and before the rule was noticed we had about 12k in free SC miles and those were all taken away overnight after it became known tesla was giving that way.
Wait...i live in md plan to pick up in va with referral code from pa...am i affected?

Not sure if this was mentioned already but new floor mats that are now compatible with refreshed Model S vehicles are present in the S accessories section on the Tesla site.

Happy stockpiling gear! I now have a sunshade, Tee shirt, hat, and soon these floor mats. Just need that all elusive car…😁
I can’t get myself to buy anything, even the wall charger, considering I don’t know if I’m ever going to get the car or if my patience will run out and I’ll get something else (won’t be as fast and have as many horsies but at least I’ll get better customer service and a functional vehicle) and last thing I want to do is get stuck with Tesla stuff while mother…. it
I was wondering the same. What do they actually do in the 8 hours on the job?
Show people the website and help them input their info, also give them cars for test drives lol

No need to buy a wall charger. The included charger is fine, just get a 14-50 outlet installed and buy the pigtail.

The only reason I’m comfortable stockpiling now is that I have a VIN number. I totally get your position though.

Ironically, depending on if they give me a delivery appointment on Saturday I may have my two girls with me so I’m now looking at buying brand new car seats just for the S. 🤦🏽‍♂️Can’t have new wine in old wine skins, lol.

Is this helpful? Looks like a customer car to me

GREAT PHOTOS! One issue though: look at the silver lip of the wheel. Does that look silver to you guys, or does it look more gray?
Looks gray to me. Silver would jump out, I believe what you're seeing is just the reflection and how the camera picks it up. Looking through the spokes, the inside of the wheel appears gray as well.

He did let them all go back in 2019 I think. Then a week later reversed the decision because of public outcry
There was a period of time where they did serve as a legitimate point of contact. This was pre-Model 3.

If he’s going to keep them on the payroll I’m not sure why they don’t have assigned customer relations duties. Right now it sounds like they don’t do anything you can’t do on the Tesla.com website.
