Wiki Model S Delivery Update

After the long and painful wait (especially during the deliver hold last week), I finally got my red MSLR. Car is awesome, but there are definitely some issues they need to fix, like bubbles in paint (or something else, not sure what the term would be), rubber gaskets around the driver and rear driver side have some “wrinkles”, and just general exterior fit and finish definitely aren’t perfect (definitely didn’t expect perfect, it’s actually a lot worse than my Model Y taken delivery last month).
All in all, most issues are pretty minor and will be fixed (hopefully painlessly), the car, as all the others here are saying, is amazing.
Here are some pics of the issues I found and one from my little photoshoot today right after delivery.

come on , it was in ‘Mexico’ (honestly officer we were in Mexico) although guess the Kia Soul driver didn’t get the memo the road was closed … my new goal in life is to try and keep up with this forum and like all of @2021plaid posts to return the positivity, gonna pay it back, always good vibes!!!
That Kia needs to stop driving lol!

Really, really appreciate it! I'm always trying to spread a good mood, even when others are having a bad day.:)

These photos are EXTREMELY useful, thank you for posting them. It helps everyone know what to look for at delivery.

Is Tesla going to do some remediation on the paint bubbles, and improve the fit around the hood area?

I haven’t talked to them yet but will submit a service ticket soon. Will report back but it maybe a while from now until I can get it scheduled.

Every single thing you said here does nothing to change the definition of bait and switch, and the fact that Tesla is doing it.

You keep saying I have the option of not doing it. That is completely incoherent to the definition of bait and switch. By your logic, bait and switch cannot exist, because no matter how a company tries to deceive and lie to a customer, we'll always have cwanja reminding them they have the option to not participate. WHAT?

One time I tried to buy a Blue Toyota Highlander. This was during the nuclear plant disaster in Japan and Toyota was not shipping anymore. I called a Toyota dealer and specifically said I was looking for a BLUE Highlander. He said they have one and will hold it for me till tomorrow. When I got there, a sales associate said they never had one, and tried to talk me into buying a silver one. If only cwanja was there to incorrectly remind me that as long as I don't buy the silver one, the dealership would not be guilty of bait and switch.

Good grief...
What was the bait? What is the switch?

Wow those look like pretty big issues to me. I've had two teslas and hadn't had those types of issues on delivery
