What is the process for someone else to take delivery/ownership of the car you ordered?

I’ll have my Tesla rep transfer to your account. I have been waiting for this car since June, but the edd kept slipping. I ordered a red one couple of weeks ago and took delivery on the 8th of this month.

thanks for this, I'm not financing, so the next step would be to determine whether i can pay at delivery in NC or if it needs to happen before hand. Despite trying I cant get my SA or delivery specialist to return my calls..... frustrating

I have a 455 VIN assigned earlier this week 2021 .....unfortunately... ordered originally in June 2021. Can't get a response form the SA about the build date will post when I find out.

I don’t understand. I’ve been waiting 6 months for that same red build, and you get it in 2 weeks? What’s the trick? Every time my EDD is two weeks away it gets moved up a month. My local exotic car dealership already bought and sold 4 Plaids. Wtf?
Can one of you plaid people tell me which of these two spoiler designs matches the car best (aka, which one does the OEM spolier look like)?

HI everyone, I'm a newbie to this site and this thread, I ordered a Model S, LR, Blue, 19's, cream interior on June 20th, 2021.
Right now the delivery is saying February, but last week it was March/April, 2022. RN11517XXXX.
Anyone have any insight on a reasonable expectation of actual delivery dates on this order based on my RN?
Also, since I locked this in at $83,490, will they honor that or require payment of the additional $15,000 the price has increased since then?

You price is protected…so you are good there.. As far as delivery date, it is a roll of the dice. It will change many times before it starts zeroing in.
If you got a 455, you are probably looking at build date of either last weekend or sometime early this week. My MF4548 was built November 4th.

My MF452 VIN shows a build date of 10/2021. How do you get the actual build date?
You can ask your sales advisor…someone at Tesla has to look it up.

I got my VIN today. I can't believe it. I was just checking the app this morning and voila. EDD window narrowed to 11/22 - 11/28. Keep your fingers crossed, please. I am so ready for delivery

@cwanja Ha! I took note...but @Jacopo is an LR and maybe NJ delivery (but could be Mt Kisco if north jersey)...so unsure it's a leading indicator for me.
Regardless, my EDD narrowed on Monday and has held for four days...so at least for another week I'll say that "no Gnus is good Gnus!" Right, @IamGaryGnu ?
