Newbie question: What Model S "trim" is the LR (Long Range)? I've seen folks mention ordering "MSLR" several times here. It seems to me that there are only two trims for sale for Model S : 1) "Model S" and 2) "Model S Plaid".

What am I missing?

Thanks
You’re missing the decoder ring. LR is now called Model S.
@jebinc is correct here. However the name that Tesla calls it when you go to checkout is "Model S Dual Motor", so that's what I personally use to keep track.

Just matched myself to an inventory Plaid! It's 4hrs away but I hope it's worth it. Vin is 473. Not that I'm worried about those lights at all. This is a dream come true!! TBH I've checked this thread way too much in the last month. I know that's not nearly long as some. Just happy it's over!
It also happens to be new lights but I cannot help but observe that you must appreciate how the rest of us in the cheap seats feel. The wait for the PLAID is really not that long. Can't tell from your signature what your journey has been, though.

I can't possibly relate to how long most have been waiting for their dual motors. That experience is ment for someone mentally stronger than me! This car is my dream car though. I've put ALOT of work in to be able to afford it. Just overjoyed the day has come. I'll gracefully bow out of this thread now though.

You're good on the refresh 2.0. My 4727xx I picked up Tuesday is 2.0, and I saw a 472560 that was refreshed 2.0 when I was there. Both Plaids.

Now we wait

No no no, you must stay here with us and share your pictures of it before leaving :p

Maybe, but not likely. It is EoQ. They could push that car to someone else who is ready by end of March. Do you have any options, family member or friend that can pick it up?
Got my VIN this morning!
RN11508
NF474
MS LR Blue/White , 21” wheels

EDD March 26-30
And I am going to be out of town next week :(((

Do you think they will allow me to schedule a delivery for April 3rd?

Ok they scheduled it to 5pm today
My flight is 10pm
😅

Can you share a link to a good pick-up checklist?

Picked up my “ old ass” model S. Apart from expected gaps and misaligned pieces, car is overall great. Yoke is interesting to use.
