I don't think you realize who you're talking too...O HELL YEAH thanks a lot man, would you mind telling me how you figured out so quickly?
Picked up my “ old ass” model S. Apart from expected gaps and misaligned pieces, car is overall great. Yoke is interesting to use.
Sorry to say. Unless you're paying for a Plaid , chance is you may not get it at that timeMy DCU loan is up on the 31st. Is there any way to get an extension? What if you get a MVPA for another car but change your mind? The loan doesn't start till the check is cashed right?
ahahahaha OK, you rock. I appreciate it. Looks like I'm back on track here with car, hoping to take delivery before april 1. Thanks againNo problem!
Oh no there's no figuring out. I've kinda memorized what VIN range the new lights began at.

Me thinks anyone of us mere mortals that have been on this thread for more than a month or so could have just as easily replied in the affirmative. I declined a delivery pre-refresh with interior trim that didn’t alight. That Model S was in much better condition. This had obvious flaws.Not meaning to be a troll but did you not decline a delivery a few weeks ago for asymmetrical gaps? My apologies if not
Curious, one of the things that irked me about the pre-refresh S was the unfinished look of the metal between the quarter panels and the gasketing of the trunk. You could see the weldments and it looked terrible. Wife's Y looks like it should. Like a part of the car you normally see and would expect to look 'right'.I declined a delivery pre-refresh with interior trim that didn’t alight. That Model S was in much better condition. @Ormond What do you mean the paint was tacky???My delivery appointment was today. The car had a few issues.
The delivery advisor could not guarantee that I had the latest hinges, and he claimed TOTAL ignorance on the issue.
- It was missing all the interior mats;
- The trunk was missing all the trim pieces including the bottom cover;
- The hood was misaligned and the rubber seal was visible on one side;
- The trim around the windshield was loose on the bottom;
- The trim around the taillight was off on one side;
- Paint in certain areas around the rear hatch were tacky; and
- The car was dirty having not been cleaned since the rain on the prior day. It was very hard to examine the paint.
I refused delivery after losing it and becoming totally unhinged. He said my sales advisor would try to match me with another EOQ car, but I doubt I’ll hear anything.
I am kidding about the hinges.
Congrats, you got the faster model with the lighter lights!Picked up my “ old ass” model S. Apart from expected gaps and misaligned pieces, car is overall great. Yoke is interesting to use.
Of course it has. It will be worse for a bit, as they are ramping up again. Expect it to be worse until they reach scale again sometime after EOQ.@Ormond Nasty. Has quality gotten worse on 2.0 as compared to 1.0? I ask as you’ve seen and touched both, recently.
@EndlessPlaid - Are you now speaking for, and representing, @Ormond?Of course it has. It will be worse for a bit, as they are ramping up again. Expect it to be worse until they reach scale again sometime after EOQ.
No I am speaking what is very likely to happen. Not representing any member here.@EndlessPlaid - Are you now speaking for, and representing, @Ormond?
You do realize that’s Elon Musk right?O HELL YEAH thanks a lot man, would you mind telling me how you figured out so quickly?
