On the bright side, you don’t see the rear screen much.If the rear screen has a larger usable viewing area, looks like I only had 7 months FOMO free.

Damn that’s a big improvement! This maybe the first difference I'm seeing between 2021/2022 and the new 2023s. The rear entertainment screen looks larger. I ordered a Spigen screen protector for the front and rear screens of my MSLR. The front screen protector fits perfect and the rear fits, but the bezels are huge and covers the actually screen area. The rear screen protector was supposed to be made for a 2021/2022 Model S\X. Below is a picture from my car (2023 MSLR I picked up last week) and I'm holding the 2021/2022 Spigen screen protector right next to it. The bezels are huge and would block out the actual screen area.

Below is picture of a youtube video explaining how to use a 2021 MS rear entertainment screen. Definitely looks smaller because the black bezels are much bigger

Yes the ‘21-22 rear screen look so 2005. Wasn’t expecting any of this but that’s nice to have. Can’t wait to get mine this Friday!Damn that’s a big improvement!
We had a pretty good run.If the rear screen has a larger usable viewing area, looks like I only had 7 months FOMO free.
We can hope… just programming.Got me thinking, maybe the new rear screens finally have the ability to output audio via Bluetooth to a headset. Just a guess nothing to back it up
But in my mind, I can't unsee it...On the bright side, you don’t see the rear screen much.
My March '22 build Plaid has no rattles. Now.This is another benefit of not picking a first-year model. I’m sure there are tons of changes that we don’t know w the new 2023 cars. I drove a September 2022 car recently and noticed no rattles from the center console. I’ve driven in 3 previous (2021 and early 2022) S cars and they all had rattles. Keeping my finger crossed.

Well I have a June 2021 build Plaid. No shakes, rattles or rolls. You could keep waiting to buy, but at some point you go for it. I’m glad I did. And I’m thinking the new rear screen slows the car down a bit. This is another benefit of not picking a first-year model. I’m sure there are tons of changes that we don’t know w the new 2023 cars. Congrats. what are you going to do with the old order?Woo hoo. Taking deliver of my 23 MSLR on Dec 6 in Dallas
I just ordered a couple weeks ago and deliver was estimated at Dec 31 - Feb 11.
Luckily I found an identical build 23 in inventory locally so I’m able to snag it quickly.
May the Panel Gaps Gods look upon me favorably.
I'm going to hold it until I take delivery - just to be sure the one I'm taking isn't a dumpster fire pit of panel gaps or missing a tire or something else obvious Tesla QA missed.Congrats. what are you going to do with the old order?
