Right?!? I think the same thing. I just checked past delieveries to LA and OC and on average it took 4 days. The average picking it up at the factory is about 3-4 days. Kind of funny and strange. But I guess so many people pick up from the factory I would guess it's backed up a little bit. Kind of disappointing...

Yep. I did that before I ordered my S. That sealed the deal for me. I also insisted I wanted to take home a 90D. Since I will be buying a 70 I wanted to experience the power of the 90. That made the test drive even more fun. I had the car exactly 24 hours

I've gotten push back on this from my SA. They said they didn't have enough to arrange for an overnight. YMMV. Let me know if you have any luck (this was Mission Viejo store/Costa Mesa SvC)

Extended test drive here too. I picked it up on a Saturday evening and they let me keep it until Monday evening. There was no going back after that... ordered the next day.

The drive to work in my ICE the next was **brutal**

Sounds like they want to discourage you from picking up in Fremont which makes no sense. My understanding is you pay the delivery fee regardless.

It may just be a matter that things are so busy at the factory these days they want to minimize the public coming and going.

I'm in the Chicago area. I'm pretty sure the refresh played a big part in the 2 month wait. I'm happy to wait in order to get the refresh.

Awesome!! Nope I still haven't received an email yet and My Telsa website still says "Late May Early June". Seems like this refresh is backing up production!!

Just checked My Tesla. My delivery window was just delayed a month from Late May - June to Late June - July.

S70 confirmed/VIN'ed 4/27

I am thinking... are they batch producing the P90D and DL and that is why I seemed to be getting passed over?
The wait is unbearable yet fun.

My order for a P90DL was confirmed on 4/13. Still has not entered into production.
