Avg Vin to Prod start seems to be around 14-17 days. Mine was right at 17 days as I predicted judging from the spreadsheet.

I have been sitting in the prod queue since July 1st... 18 days and counting :-(

For those who received vin# weeks after confirm date... were your orders put into production later than those who received vin# on same date as confirm date? Sorry, i am new to forums... where is the spreadsheet on deliveries for 2016?

My latest update per my DS . . . .

Car has officially left depot after production and on transport train headed east.

My official window for delivery still says aug 6th -aug 20th, but I'm confident (and hopeful) that it will be closer the to first half of that window.

Just got an email today that my S has entered production. Delivery says August to early september but my DS has said mid to late august.

P90DL finally refreshed my tesla website now says delivery 8/8-8/22. Hoping for the early side of that. Its been a long wait. Confirmed June 3rd.

Likely need to factor in the holiday weekend (July 4th) that comes in the middle of the 18 days+ you're currently observing. Hopefully will be soon for you, as I'm a July 4th confirmation... so not far behind you in the queue likely.

Picking up in Fremont in 2 days. 28 days from order to delivery. The line is humming along. Finished production today, 10th anniversary of roadster reveal. Woohoo!

Picked up the 60D last Saturday as scheduled.

FYI - I've always thought my 60D entered production on 7/7, which is when I received the "your MS has entered production" email. However on the monroney sticker, I noticed the actual "manufacture date" is 7/2.

I think i'm right along with you. I have a pick up time for July 21 at 2p. 24 days from VIN to delivery, 32 days order to delivery. Super excited.

@my esteemed colleague, Mr. Austin Powers. Yes--Porsche does custom orders including custom colors. I think Tesla could go that route. Would be nice.

FYI for the DC metro folks waiting on that train to Birmingham: Had my NEMA 14-50 installed in the garage last night. Excellent service given by ACX Daves Lighting Electric (www.acxdaves.com). My brother is a master electrician but lives far away. He told me expect 15 minutes of work and less than $200 based on my garage setup. ACX charged me $175. The owner Dave, who did the work, was an awesomely normal guy, who cares about the quality of his work. The gentleman also executed the job on the same day I called. No games. No mess; he also cleaned up the dry wall dust.

The MyTesla site recommended electrician was Autumn Electric in Vienna, VA. Bad news--The mistakenly noted my appointment as canceled then corrected it only to do an estimate, not the actual work. Electrician that showed up didn't blink his eyes like he was high on Vicodin. Hours later he emailed me an estimate for $575. What the what? lol
