Ordered 11/16
Confirmed 11/18
Went into production12/6
Still shows in production on the dashboard, but today my delivery window changed from December - Early January to Dec 25 - Jan 8. I'm hoping that gets bumped up a bit.

I haven't gotten any automated emails from Tesla. I've double checked my email address, but whatever.

I'm nearby Chicago and Ordered 11/9 confirmed 11/15 Went into production 12/6 as well. Still in production but hoping to be on a train heading here soon. No update on delivery schedule. DS promises 11/15-11/20 timeframe (we'll see...). Hopefully they start loading our cars (after a thorough inspection/QA).

Very nice. Looks great.

Curious if the mobile app already working? Or you have to wait a few days for that?

Thank you! Mobile app worked within a few minutes after hitting a red button that comes up in mytesla. The button says accept delivery.

Ordered P100D 8.28
Confirmed 8.29
Received VIN 8.29
Delivery "end of September"
Pushed (1) to "end of October" white seat backlog (lucky for me)
Updated to FSD, EAP end of October
Pushed (2) to November to early December (no reason)
Pushed (3) to early December to January (again no reason, likely prioritizing foreign builds)
Into production December 5
Status December 9 "Your estimated delivery window is December 10, 2016 - December 24, 2016" Fremont Delivery

Whew! This is my 5th Tesla and by far the most frustrating and nerve wracking pre-delivery process. Lesson is that with TM you need patience and a lot of faith and take what your DS tells you (if they tell you anything) with a rather large grain of salt.

I had the same message. Now it reads; "Your estimated delivery window is December 15, 2016 - December 29, 2016." It looks as if the shipments are being bundled and ready to roll next week.:D

I would say your frustration is exactly compensated by your incredible good luck to be able to jump on the UltraWhite and AP2 bandwagons. Did you get the glass roof also? Anyway, as you well know from past experience, it will all be worth it in the end, and made that much sweeter by the spice of anticipation! ☺️

Started production 11/11 and still in production 12/9. :(

I was supposed to have my delivery today and last e-mail from my DS said:

"Since the launch of the updated autopilot hardware, we’ve seen some longer build times as cars through more extensive quality control measures. Based on what I see currently, we’re still on track for delivery on 12/9. I’ll be sure to let you know as soon as it leaves the factory."

No word since then (email was sent 11/30) and the call I placed earlier this week wasn't returned.

Congratulations, though, to everyone else who is moving along. I'm not jealous... Really, I'm not. :)

I have a question for those who have ordered an inventory (not custom order) new car: How long did it take after the car appeared in your My Tesla profile page for the assigned Delivery Specialist to make initial contact w/you?

I ordered over a week ago and have heard nothing. After the order appeared on MY Tesla, I entered/uploaded all of the requested information and documents. Then I waited. Perhaps impatiently, on Wednesday, I reached out to the DS with an introductory email and have not yet received a response. This morning, I called and emailed my sales rep to inquire; but unfortunately, since placing my order she has also basically been MIA.

I'm simply like to determine the chances that I'll be expected to take delivery prior to end of year. At the time I ordered, my sales rep indicated that delivery would been relatively quick because it's an inventory car located within our region. I'm not trying to put a rush on the delivery; I'd just like to get some sort of estimate so I can solidify my holiday travel plans.

Certainly I understand I'm not their only customer -- but thus far I've truly been less than impressed with customer service, specifically re communication.

Thank you

I switched from custom order to Inventory. I made the switch on Dec 3. Initially I was told car is in my region (Seattle area), but turned out it was in the Bay Area. I still went ahead as my OA said they will try to get the car ASAP. Which they did. Car was here Dec 6 and I picked it up yesterday (Dec 8). So 5 days total. My OA has been nothing short of amazing the whole process.

I doubt the car is in production that long. Just don't trust the MyTesla page.

If I had to guess, I would say that the car probably is not in production yet. With the end of the quarter, and the way Tesla is producing cars from East to West, I would say you will get you car just before the end of the year.

Having said that, continue to try to contact your DS. He/She definitely knows more on what is going on and can provide details/dates
