Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I have question for those who already got their car delivered. Does tesla account page really matters after delivery of car? or is there for reference only? Should I expect everything be on physical paper, signed, after delivery as a proof?

I'm asking because currently my tesla account page is messed up, all steps I did was gone. DS told me to ignore account page for now.
I prefer everything on hard paper. Websites can not be trusted, they can be hacked, manipulated or changed without your knowledge.

I'm hoping for a home delivery to make it a bit faster, but if not I'll be picking up at the Springfield office.

I noticed the car entered production today and I received an email stating delivery at the Springfield office would be the 24th. So I guess worst case I'll get a nice Christmas present.
Interesting. You've ordered month earlier and it's just entering production. If we give it a week to complete then 2-3 weeks for transport and Dec 24th delivery. Since early Nov orders have not entered production yet, how can we expect delivery by end of year? Unless, our batch did enter production, just our NJ DS's are clueless about it.

Ya, estimated delivery date they gave me is week of Dec 25 o_O

I just checked the website and my update changed from awaiting production to currently entered production. I was not expecting my car to start production till next week. This is an unexpected bonus. My DS already scheduled a delivery date for Dec 30. Hopefully I get it bumped up sooner.

Model S 75D 2017
ordered on: Oct 27, confirmed on: Oct 30, VIN: Nov 3, delivery range: Dec ~ Jan 2018, DS: Delivery scheduled Dec 30 for Decatur.

I ordered an inventory vehicle that was already nearing production. It was supposed to enter production yesterday...but my "Manage" link for this car still shows no information other than VIN and the obligatory "You will be contacted by a Tesla delivery specialist to arrange for payment and delivery of your Model S." That has all happened already and I have a scheduled delivery appointment of 12/12. He seems very confident about this date. I don't want to keep pinging him, so I'll just wait it out.

I lied about waiting it out. It's so hard to wait.

I sent a quick email to my DS asking about the MyTesla page and if they still provide status (In Production or In Transit). He said they do, and I should have received notification that my car entered production yesterday. I did not. I wonder if this is a hiccup with buying an inventory vehicle. Whatever the case, glad to hear I'm in production.

I went back and revisited the tracking spreadsheet at the beginning of this thread for the past 6 months. It appears that median production time is about 5 days. There are a few outliers, which is why I used median instead of mean. At any rate, I'm telling myself that it'll be done this week and make it way up to Portland next week. On track for delivery on 12/12! Possibly sooner.

I'm in the exact same boat. Ordered an inventory car, went into production on Sunday and it's not displaying on the tesla page.

I ordered on 10/31 and as of yesterday, my DS is still telling me that the tentative delivery date is scheduled for December 20th. My car has still not entered production yet, so I'm getting more and more skeptical as the days go by.
@Cheesy23 I spoke with John at Springfield yesterday - he told me Tiyana is moving on and that he was talking on my delivery. He told me that my car is scheduled to go into production by end of this week early next week. I should get an update by next Friday. Still holding on to a delivery date of the 22nd in Springfield.

Interesting, makes sense as to why I can't get a hold of Tiyana. My car changed to "in production" on Monday. I received an email from one of the other Springfield employees saying Delivery the 24th. Where did you hear the 20th?
FYI
I ordered 10/2
Confirmed 10/6

Seems like we're all in the same boat without our captain Tiyana. At this time I have no DS assigned to me and no one in Springfield cares enough to reply to my emails. Other than automatic vacation replies, Tiyana never sent me an email. I'm a bit shocked by Tesla's inattention to their customers.

She had initially given me the 22nd date and John noted it as well also saying that it would be a worst case delivery date. He said he would be reaching out to me sometime next week on an updated status.
