Interesting that they're trying to rush you to take delivery. I wonder why...

Yes, the entire reason they are rushing production on all these May orders is to get everyone delivered by end of the 2nd quarter, its a huge deal on the company's numbers. I ordered in March, which was huge mistake (last month of the 1st quarter). So they had an entire 3 months to produce and deliver my vehicle. To be honest, anyone who ordered in May and was promised June delivery will get a June 30th delivery. They will ship it Express freight on truck or do whatever it takes to ensure as many vehicles that are produced in May/June get delivered in the month of June. They don't get any credit until you sign for your MS and drive away.

Anyways, my long wait is over tomorrow! It was torture, but I'm hoping it will all be worth it!

That makes sense. Happy that your wait is finally coming to an end. I only ordered 5/9 and it already feels like torture.

My S is done! DS asking me to take delivery last week of june but im out on vacation. They are pushing hard to get it delivered before july 1 for some reason. Wants me to drive 10 hrs back plus 1.5 hrs up to cincy to take delivery on 30th??? Whats the sudden rush?

They want to include that in their quarterly numbers. Ask for a free wall connector if you will drive so far

Hello all,

Driving an P85+ since 2013 now at 130,000+ miles, I wonder how many of this specific model have been produced by Tesla.
I see many P85's, but not many with the +. It was the top-model at the time, before the introduction of the dual-drive models and I have a feeling not many have been sold.

Model S 75D (2017) USAA $1054 yearly. No tickets or accidents. You can't insure with USAA unless you or a parent served in the military.

That is a good price. I also have access to USAA so definitely a good place to check.

Placed my order last week and it was locked yesterday. This is my 3rd Tesla (2nd model s).

Takes about a week to build the car but my delivery delivery date is July.

Let’s see if they crank through to hit the end of quarter numbers or moderate to ensure the 7500 rebate stays until end of this year (200k cars is the threshold)

A couple things that I did notice. The interior door handles are still the brushed aluminum and the foot pedals are metal. Don’t know if that is Performance model related but I think the showroom model had black pedals. Also had to stop on the ride home to purchase floor mats. Love the light headliner, seats and carpet. Know you will too.

Soooo I was scheduled to take delivery tomorrow at the Tyson’s Corner,Va location. I got a call from a delivery specialist who stated they completed the 150 point inspection and noticed that a part on the suspension needed to be replaced and delivery has to be pushed back to June 30th.

What an amazing day! Car is perfect and my first time driving one! What an absolute blast! I am so glad I didn’t test drive it first. I was blown away in all aspects. Handling, build quality, neck snapping acceleration that never gets old, autopilot is soooo fun and scary at the same time. I don’t think I’ve ever loved a car so much! Worth every second of the wait!

In other news, just got my VIN today. Not the most exciting part of the process, but I am grateful as each step is taken.

Great experience at the Decatur delivery center! A couple of scuffs from who knows what, but they buffed them out before we left. A little irked about a bunch of swirl marks on the rear passenger panel, but it’s been noted.

Agree Xplays! It seems that all bayarea orders are last to start production. I got my VIN on 05/16 and see other with later date, but their production already started or done.
