Me too! The emc for the Model S shows that the screen has a tilting mechanism built in.

Has anyone wrapped the their wood with CF? I have an opportunity to deliver faster if I switch to wood. But I am struggling with this decision.

Not canceling my order (wife's!), just pointing out the the Plaid and Tesla in whole will have a year or two more before ALL the big guys get neck deep in the game. They NOW see where the games going and are changing course. I think Tesla is the Premiere EV car company today, but for me the game will be played at a MUCH lower MSRP than the Plaid, S, or X. M3, and MY are where the company will survive or fold. ET's on a drag strip are great for testing technology, but the EV game will be Range and Cost. Just my thoughts.

In the for what it is worth category, I had a Model S with Carbon, and a Model Y with wood. Both looked good to me. I think that the wood would look even better in the S than it looks in the Y, given the overall less fancy nature of the Y.

My guess is that Tesla simply is not capable of making a consistent red. If you notice the ones seen online all seem streaked.The new purple might suit you.

I got a call from Tesla today to switch from Cf to wood, didn’t change the price. They said I should expect delivery in next few weeks.

CF not until august/September.

They called me and said they could do it. I am on the fence. I really like the CF look. But I hear there are shops that can basically wrap the wood with CF and it looks the same???

Lol honestly I still think it totally fits the car. The Plaid Model S has ludicrous mode. I think it still works.

I actually prefer wood, didn't notice it or it wasn't an option when I ordered! Why aren't they calling ME!
