I am likely to use a 50% tint on my taillights to hide the ugly but not sure how I feel about tinting the headlights with a blue tesla. Anyone else out there with a blue tesla (S, 3, X, or Y) already do this and can send a photo and impressions?
Personally I feel these taillights are more than satisfactory. What in particular is your issue with them, other than they have been around awhile? They make my 61 Falcon taillights look like the Viking stadium before they build US Bank Stadium.
35 Plaids are now available for immediate pickup here in the North East on Tesla's website under existing new inventory.

Do you think the ambient lighting can be a firmware thing or would additional hardware be necessary?
I thought I read there is presently no hardware in place for the tilting screen.

Hey Guys - first post here. Purchased MSLR black, arachnid rims mid October. Showing estimated delivery date of 12/23-12/31. Original date was March 3-30 and pulled ahead like a week ago. No vin yet. In the East Bay Area close to Fremont, not sure if that matters.

My BMW M2 and 640i had the same thing. It’s normal, the airbag opens through that
I don't mind it. They'll probably say it's "within spec."
On the bright side, it's only noticable in direct sunlight and when looking down which I don't do because I'm usually the driver.
Replace the airbag module. I had it done on my old P85D.
It’s not “normal” as others are saying. Plenty of modules don’t have the vein.

yes got floor mats with the car.. I can post the pic tomorrow. I heard few didn't get during delivery but later got them in post.

So what do you guys think is going on. I don’t think it is a supply chain shortage. A friend of mine ordered a msm white model 3 on Dec 10 and got vin after three days
Same as my colors. It is very clear it is a model s thing.
Also after elon recent directive to cut delivery costs I feel California orders are being prioritized from whom I am seeing getting their cars or vins with few exceptions. It seems many who where in Dec edd and then pushed to Jan seems to me for that reason purposely. I am seeing white interiors and msm delivered. Seems they are getting few from older cheaper orders going but letting more closer more expensive orders delivered. I don’t believe it is a supply chain. Maybe with mats and trunk covers but not production. All my friends that were infuenced by me converting to ev and ended up ordering cheaper models. 3 and y got their cars and I am not even sure I will get it in Jan even.
