Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I ordered my MS LR on Apr 16th and thought that I would get my VIN in a day or two because the MS demand is low and the estimated delivery was April (it still is). I haven't got my VIN though. With the new price increase, I am really hoping to take delivery asap as the old price + free supercharging sounds like a good deal now.
what is your estimate delivery ? is that still showing April ?

I ordered the 16th as well. No VIN number for me either. I doubt you will get free supercharging. I'm sure Tesla interprets this in their favor: Customers who order and take delivery of a new Model S or Model X vehicle between April 20, 2023 and June 30, 2023, are eligible for unlimited free Supercharging on their new vehicle.

We didn't order between April 20, 2023 and June 30, 2023. If you get it let me know. :)

I ordered Sunday. I can't take advantage of it either. $2,500 less than the current price is way better anyway.
That’s exactly what the communication from Tesla said our SA showed us today. We haven’t ordered yet so I didn’t press any further. We currently have UFC and put on tons of Supercharge miles so this might just shake us loose. We’ve been patiently waiting for the Palladium's to shall we say “mature”.

Interesting cat and mouse game Tesla has been playing with these cars.

They have a promotion that if your trade-in a S or X that has FUSC for a new S or X you get 6 years of free Supercharging. (Or you can keep the old S/X and just authorize them to remove the FUSC from it.)

What I read when I placed my order with a Model S trade that has unlimited Supercharging was that I would get an extra $5K for my trade.
Or was that $5K for FSD credit?

Last night, I think it just said "take delivery" instead of "order and take delivery". I feel they added the "order" part today. I might wrong, since I didn't take any pictures.

It's confusing, they say 6 years "unlimited supercharging" instead of "unlimited free supercharging". And in the FAQ below, they have this:
"No. By participating in this program, you will no longer have access to unlimited free Supercharging."

It's almost as if they are getting ready to limit supercharging, and 6 years unlimited supercharging, while still being pay per use, is considered a benefit.

Tesla is like a Las Vegas casino, house always wins. They will still give you a low ball trade in offer and claim you’re getting 5K more than you would have 😀

It was saying “Customers who take delivery …” instead of “Customers who order and take delivery …” in the first day or half-day of the price change.

I read the same thing. I am pretty sure they changed it later. No pictures either.

Despite the latest pricing shenanigans, SoCal inventory has increased to nearly 50. Appears that very few demos and HW3 cars are listed.

It is apparent the latest move was to appease the Street, as now they can say they can raise prices, although in this case with a bit of slight of hand by offering free limited SuC.

Fact is MS is less than 2% of sales. Soon, it will be apparent that Tesla couldnt care less about this model, kinda like the Roadster both one and two.

No mention at all of Roaster 2 in the earning call
