Spotted a sig red model S gliding down the freeway between Moe and Morwell at about 8 this morning,
It was heading West while I was going East so only got a quick look, seemed to have had NSW plates,

Having to get out of the passengers side back door proved to be- well- interesting.

I went down to Melbourne for a work trip about 3 weeks ago. While travelling into the city in a taxi, I spied a Model S heading north on Flemington Road. It was silver.

Was pulled over at an RBT this evening and after checking licence and zero reading on breathalyser the cop goes "blimey that's a big Nav Man is that standard on the car?". Not wanting to hold up the line I just said yes and headed off. As I drove off the cop calls out to his colleague "hey look at the size of the Nav man in that car!".

if only we were allowed the browser I could have really blown their minds!

I spotted my first Model S on the road today (apart from the one that I test drove), it was the NSW registered P85+ demo car driving down Park Street South Melbourne

This is probably not a legitimate 'spot' but in the latest Renew magazine (issue 131) there is an article and photo of a
couple who live in the Dandenong Ranges and they have a dark blue or black Tesla, rego number 111-111.

This issue of Renew has a lot of EV info in it, it has a white BMW i3 under a solar carport on the cover.

yeah those rims are not Tesla rims - he got them because they are much better aerodynamically and weigh a lot less than Tesla wheels.

That car was delivered late March but for some reason the owner reckons he has been told he has the 12th Model S in Australia. Don't know who is telling him that. 12th in his suburb maybe.
