SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

Has anyone come off from hold and received delivery? What was that wait time compared to the original estimated delivery date?
I haven’t but can you tell me how to put my order on hold until March next year at the earliest? When i ordered it was June 2022. My delivery specialist said more like March or April. Ok works. Today it’s showing Dec 19-31st. I’ve reached out by text to the delivery specialist but haven’t received a response back yet.

If the EV tax credit does pass with effective date starting in Jan 2022, there will be a HUGE drop off in sales for Tesla. 8k is alot of money for anyone especially SR+ buyers. I'm speculating that most people with delivery date in Dec 2021 will try to push it out to 2022.
I'm just hoping Congress is that this dumb, at least make it effective immediately as of the date of the bill's passing. But then again, Congress is owned by the rich, and the union.

Well if you all start putting your orders on hold, plenty of people to take them this side of the border :)

M3 SR+, Pearl White/Black/Aero Wheels no FSD
Order date: Sep 27th
Initial EDD: March
Oct 22 EDD: Jan 29-Feb 18 2022
Location Montreal
Yep, if the bill does pass (not looking very likely at the moment), Tesla will likely prioritize orders outside the US until after Jan 1st.

Anyone else notice that Tesla just changed their website to reflect a 10 mile increase with 18’s?
True, but the 0-60 time also decreased to 5.8 seconds. Looks like it's LFP battery where it's got more range, but due to heavier weight, 0-60 got slower. But I'd take 272 miles over faster 0-60 any day. Especially when you can charge it to 100%.
A Long Range that normally charges to 80% only gets 286 miles, after few years of degradation, we're looking at almost the same range under normal driving circumstance.

Wow, imagine taking delivery on Dec 31. I called the delivery support line after I was assigned a vin. I ordered in August and received vin last week. I wasn't able to hold my order past Dec 12 because of the order agreement. I must accept delivery of the next vehicle I'm matched with or my order is cancelled. Advised April edd though.

I'm wondering if Manchin isn't going to allow the bill to pass after all though.

Here's to hoping I get matched on Jan 1.

I'm seeing 267 mi here in California. Also 5.8sec 0-60. And the Long Range changed to 334mi, @4.2sec for 0-60. I think it was 353mi & 4.3sec before. Not sure what's going on.

Edit: I see now that the 267 is just for the 19" wheel, change it to 18 and it's 272. Oh And the 334 is also for the 19" wheel, change it to 18" and it's actually 358mi. Oh wow, didn't realize the 18" aero's make that much difference in the LR.

I got my vision statement....called and asked what happens to price if I delay the order...Customer service rep told me I can delay up to 90 days and keep the price (4K less than now) . But I can't make any changes and when it comes off delay I must take delivery or my price lock is gone. So i delayed until 12/29....figured I might be able to score my car first week of Jan (fingers crossed) and still get the rebate if it passes

So the $44k question is, when will Tesla start shipping cars that meet the updated range spec? And are these cars indeed LFP (as the slightly slower 0-60 times seem to suggest)? I don't see any specs associated with my RN ("view design details" just tells you that you have ordered a SR+, colors, wheels, etc). So will we get the SR+, or the "Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive"? Fingers crossed they start delivering cars to the updated specs very soon.

The question is also if Premium interior is now included. Does not state partial premium interior on the Web page.

I guess it depends where you live… I’d rather not get LFP since I’m in Quebec.
