SR+ Order with no options

Ordered on 8/10
Original estimated delivery was November
Then changed to Oct 8-28
Today the estimated deliver changed to Oct 2-10

I haven't received a Tesla Vison email and I don't see the VIN in my account (not in the source code either)

Should I be expecting my car within the next 10 days?

Hello,
I ordered my SR Model 3 on August 14 with an expected delivery of December-January, which was perfect for me. I needed time to sell my car and save up a bit more. I randomly got a text last week (September 23) saying my car will be ready in two days. This was way too soon for me, so I had my delivery delayed. My account now says delivery is on hold until October 10. If I delay it more, will that push me back to the current Model 3 wait time of March? I just want the original date of December-January....

Thank you for any tips, totally new here!

Tesla is rather inconsistent with their delivery promises and much more so, it seems, when the customer requests a delay. You might think they'd put you at the front of the line for the next shipment but it seems they might actually do the opposite - reciprocate your lack of commitment.

If you haven't already, put your VIN into Carvana, Carmax, CarBuyerUSA, and Vroom for instant quotes. They are paying insane prices right now which might make your October delivery more palatable.

Oh, and Welcome!

I agree this is accurate. Also, if the charge screen shows indicators for ”daily” and “trip” then it is an NCA vehicle.

The following screen shots are from the European Model 3 owners’ manual:

So placed my order for SR+ Model 3 Sept 27th with est delivery March but checked this morning showing Nov 15 to Dec 15. Ordered Blue on White interior. Not sure if gettimg white interior helps due date . Also i have submitted completed all tasks except insurance. btw I am in Toronto.
Damn you're lucky. Ordered September 7th got a brief ETA March and mines blank for over a week now.

Mines the classic. White/black with the 18". Waiting game.

I was wondering if the end of the “end of quarter” rush would bring any EDD updates… and… voila! My first EDD update in over a month and it’s tighter and sooner! EDD now at Oct 13 - 27 🤞🤞
p.s. Checked source code - still no VIN
Once I got the EDD update the rest came fast n furious. I think the EDD update was Thurs and by Monday I was picking up the vehicle. Good luck.

Just a heads up… I received an LFP SR+ almost 4 weeks back and I have both “daily” and “trip” in my battery screen. I’m not sure thats exclusive to one or the other
The attached screen shot is from the EU manual for the Model 3. It indicates that the way to tell whether you have an LFP vehicle is that the LFP vehicles have “daily” and “trip” limits on the charge screen. The LFP can be regularly charged to 100%, and Tesla recommends that it be charged to 100% at least weekly. The “daily” and “trip” limits are not relevant for the LFP. Also, if your GVWR is 4,658 lbs, the vehicle is an LFP vehicle. LFP vehicles weigh 212 lbs more than NCA vehicles. I attach a copy of my door jam sticker.

I have a friend who recently took delivery of an inventory vehicle that turned out to be an NCA vehicle, confirmed by the charge screen having the “daily” and “trip” limits, the GVWR, the sticker showing a range of 263 miles and 142 MPGe (as opposed to 262 for range and 141 MPGe for the LFP), and the electric motor model.
