SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

I ordered my RWD Model 3 back in Nov. if I change it to Long Range, will Tesla allow me to upgrade with pricing as of last November or will I have to pay the price as of the order change date?

I mentioned this exact posting to my S/A and they called B/S on the play.
They said that they have no way of knowing until a VIN is assigned. Once a VIN is assigned then they can see the departure date and not before.

Like I said earlier ask any 2 S/A's and you'll get 5 correct answers.

That said my last to EDD are exactly like yours but 1 day later each.

Yeah it's crazy how everyone gets different info from SAs. Again who knows if this is true but I did go in person and he didn't only tell me, he showed me his computer screen with that factory gate date. Then again this might've been some mock up BS screen . Or this screen is basically the same rough estimate as EDD and can change any time.

Well I hope mine is either early or late, as we'll be out of the country on a long earned 1 week vacation. We go tired of playing the EDD game and booked.
I've told my S/A as well as my delivery specialist this verbally and in writing. So there is no way I can pick it up while on a beach....hope they listen.
If I were a betting man....lets just say my car will get pushed back a couple of months.

My account page says, "Prepare for delivery, Next Steps, As your delivery date approaches, we’ll contact you to confirm your registration, payment method and, if applicable, trade-in details." I don't see VIN in the page though... I've been staring at the same old screen for so long, so frequently any mundane updates excite me...
I hope this is a good sign...Haha!
EDD is still steady at May - June.

So it looks just like a web page change, not an update to the delivery

Apropos of nothing, my page source is very different from before, a lot of the information is now missing. Of course it is also missing on the visible page, so the page source tracks.

This is optimistic part of me talking, but, I once saw this "prepare for delivery" page back in December. A few days later, I had delivery date of 12/15/2021 and vin assignment. I did not want to take delivery back then and placed hold on the car...

Echoing others, as my app just shows prepare for delivery, with no more EDD. Only shows EDD on the webpage. Side note - I am able to now “edit” my design…it reflects pricing from when I first ordered…not sure if others see the same.

I was wondering this as well and asked my SA. What he said was "Your price would be based on when you ordered originally."

Lol … everything is back to the way it was before. Probably updating their website or scheduled maintenance that caused all that excitement
