Here is my EDD history to share.
OD: 7/3
EDD (updated 7/5): 11/14 - 1/9/23
EDD (updated 7/27): 11/13 - 12/25
EDD (updated 8/11): 10/28 - 12/9
EDD (updated 8/30): 10/22 - 11/26
EDD (updated 9/25): 10/19 - 11/16
EDD (updated 10/17): 11/04 - 11/18
EDD (updated today, 10/25): 11/05 - 11/19

My build is: Model 3SR/grey/no FSD/18-inch wheel.

It is in the 2-week window now. But no VIN yet. My question is: should I arrange the car loan now? I want to lock the rate before the next Fed meeting.

Feds are supposed to increase prime on Nov. 2 .75 points. My edd is nov9-nov25. I will applying by Oct. 30

If someone put in a recent order in the last week or so, when could they expect their EDD to be narrowed down? I see Dec 1st to Dec 31st is an option for some new orders put in recently from the forum.

This morning (10/26) my EDD got narrowed to 12/21 - 12/31

Silly question but since you’re supposed to charge the lfp battery to 100% does that mean it won’t have regen breaking until I drive a few miles? How many miles until it comes back?

I chose " pay with cash" because that what the customer service advised me to do so to complete the 3 steps to get my order going. The question is, should I change back to financing and apply for Tesla Financing or just wait for the Vin?

Wait until you get the VIN to do anything....generally for loans you will need the VIN to finalize...so it becomes a reason for you to get some time..but be prepared since EDD can move forward

Make sure to ask for the T logo and they will send it to you in a separate mail. I got mine with the T

Just picked up our new M3. Got everything as expected and car was great with the exception of a bunch of dirty hand marks that wiped right off. Build quality is terrific.

I don’t have the VIN when I applied for pre-approval. I am waiting for my VIN too. I think the next steps are: wait for the VIN assignment, sign the purchase contract with Tesla, then close the loan with the lender.

Hmm, maybe I should apply too? How do you do a pre-approval vs going with a formal approval? Just apply and they give a conditional acceptance based on the VIN?
