Glad to hear there's progress. I was just trying to plan a trip down to that area and was surprised by the lack of charging (including the lack of L2 chargers as a backup.)
Reddit user midnight_to_midnight posted the attached image to the r/Teslalounge subreddit yesterday (re-posted here with permission). Not much other info as they were driving by and didn't stop. I will add that the transformer seems to be in place but no obvious sign of a meter, and it does not look like this is a Magic Dock equipped location. Also, it looks like an operator sitting in the mini-ex, so I'd say this one won't be buttoned up and turned on by the time I drive by on 11/6.
This is getting exciting!! I could have used it last week when Poncha Springs was super slow and I left earlier than I should have and had to get a few kW at the Alamosa Public Library.

I'm charging at the library now. Made a 150 mile side trip from Poncha Springs just to check out the progress in Alamosa. Time to head home before the snow comes to Monarch Pass.
Nice, from earlier posts it sounds like construction started after Oct 2 so they've done most (all?) of the construction in 25 days. Hopefully this opens up soon and doesn't get stuck waiting on utilities or final approvals.
SWEET! I love it when a plan comes together!
(Now, if we can get a supercharger in Durango next year, that would make this area a lot easier, and less stressful, to visit and pass through.)
Durango, or Pagosa Springs would both be great. Pagosa Springs would reasonably unlock Durango when coming from Denver / Colorado Springs / northern areas
