Do they make you pay for parking in the garage?

I drove right past there back in early July before they opened it up. Didn't ever really need it, all got around the lake with plenty to spare, but nice to see a SC location in the South Lake Tahoe vicinity. Looks as if the access is easier to get to it from the Lake Front Road.

You don't have to pay for the parking. Access from Lake Tahoe Blvd, follow the Self-Park signs and chargers are on the first level. You can't miss them. We've been trickle charging at the house when we come up from Sacramento so this is a great improvement. Grab breakfast at the Alpine Union restaurant inside Hard Rock, donate a few bucks to the local economy and charge up the car!

Yeah, totally. It helps a ton for trips to Reno as well. For those who don't know, the closest charger is otherwise in Truckee/Placerville before climbing the mountain. If you have a low capacity Tesla and especially if it's winter, you could've been crawling at 15mph in freezing cold conditions for a few hours between these two chargers.

Should make a lot of Tahoe destinations less stressful to 60/70/75kWh owners.

No.

For North Lake Tahoe, it's Rocklin then Truckee (either of two locations). For South Lake Tahoe, it's Folsom (either of two locations). Not a problem even in cold weather with low capacity. You can even manage a round trip without charging because South Lake Tahoe to Folsom uses only about 60 miles of range due to it being down hill. And there are several level two chargers in the Lake Tahoe area that help.

In any case, having a supercharger in Stateline with be an excellent addition. It doesn't enable anything new, but it reduces stress and makes things more convenient.
