Supercharger - Tejon Ranch, CA (expanded to 24 V2 stalls)

Nice - two trailers! Now if they can make sure all the existing stalls are also running at 100% that will give a bit of headroom, but I still wonder if it'll be enough...
Saturday, 5/29 @ 12:50 am. 3X trailers now. 1X was hooked up to the cabinets with the cables running across the driveway but covered a rubber strips and marked with cones. It blocked a few stalls and taking charge.
I see this and think ”Great!.. Tesla is really stepping up” and at the same time I think, thank GOD we’re not traveling this weekend/holiday
And for an encore, Tesla is working towards adding 56 permanent stalls on the other side of the freeway at the outlets. Building permit was applied for at the beginning of May: Supercharger - Wheeler Ridge, CA (technically in Arvin but not really, 56 V3 stalls)
See, I totally called it, even without any direct knowledge of Tesla's plans.
What you are seeing below is a long line at Tejon Ranch during a non-holiday weekend.
Sunday afternoon 13 June around 4:30 PM and there is a 13 car line queuing up on the street waiting for a Supercharging stall at Tejon Ranch. This will be problem during July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas later this year without the Supercharging expansion on the outher side of the freeway. Personally, I would like to see further expansion to the south in Gorman or Lebec to fill the gap before Santa Clarita.

Any recent visits to this station? Plugshare reports from earlier this week say there are 5+ broken stalls.

I was at Tejon last week and not only was it packed on a Monday afternoon, but one stall was broken and the Starbucks behind the chargers are only doing drive-thru, so no close bathrooms available.

Hm, thanks. This is a necessary stop to get from SoCal to the Traver supercharger. Wondering if I'm better off just driving my ICE for the trip rather than play with an overcrowded SC both ways.

Aye, sorry, I meant Buttonwillow. I had planned on going to Tejon but Buttonwillow was a little less busy and went there instead. Tejon was packed when I was on my way but I re-routed to Buttonwillow instead.
I charged in Santa Clarita and went to Traver. I purposely skipped Tejon because it was pretty packed on the way down.

This is helpful—what car do you have? Tesla seems to think I can do what you’re suggesting but ABRP say it is not possible. I have a MYP.
I’ve done further distance but in the opposite direction. I charged up to 90 percent at Traver and made it to Anaheim with 9% left. This is with a Model 3 Performance on the stock 20s. Traver to San Fernando or Santa Clarita with an 80% starting charge should be doable.

Last week we used 88% charge (100% -> 12%) in our 2018 3 AWD to get from Glendale to Traver with a full height bike on the roof. This worked out to 319 Wh/mile. It should definitely be possible to skip Tejon for a lot of people.
