Pics… or,
Correct you are. Lots of new concrete sending cars to what looks like will be two entry gates to the left. Now a metal control box on the mount. The entry and exit path here looks very different to what I went through. There are more lanes around to the left and it looks to be being set up for some form of timed/controlled entry and exit.
Childers is similar size to Gundagai which has 360kW worth of Superchargers. Not sure what the actual feed is there though. Have a feeling it might be more location related, or Ergon might be being difficult (which I've heard is typical)I'm wondering if they were struggling for power resources in Childers, as it's not a big place.
No guarantee that towns of similar size will have similar spare power though.Childers is similar size to Gundagai which has 360kW worth of Superchargers.
Tesla had a new 500kVA distribution sub installed for that site. The Chargefox chargers were installed later under some kind of agreement to use the balance of the site capacity.Childers is similar size to Gundagai which has 360kW worth of Superchargers. Not sure what the actual feed is there though.

What time do they generally close? Are the ones that close at night related to being located on private property that also is closed at night?Evidently no-one told the Australian Supercharger sites that close at night
Good spot- it's a global add so surprised that they used Aussie scenaryIronically 6 seconds into the ad, they start featuring the Sea Cliff Bridge - which is 24km from the Figtree supercharger (24hr) and 32km from the Kirrawee supercharger (6am-midnight).
The Sea Cliff Bridge is almost mandatory in car commercials worldwide.Good spot- it's a global add so surprised that they used Aussie scenary
Given there was only five sites to choose from in South Korea not suprising, hopefully next round there are none left for Tesla to select from or at least less than five sites to vote for in South Korea. No Aussie sites selected in the Spring 2023 voting nor any bonus sites.
All five sites to South Korea
