More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

Totally understand not wanting to get out of rhythm with time constraints. I've been pushing for an intermediate SC between Sheridan and Billings because sometimes I can barely make it if there's a headwind. If you do Gillette to Billings without slowing down I will be very impressed!

Not sure what bird that was, but they can get territorial. I've seen a bunch of broken eggs on the ground around our property recently, so they're probably protecting young-uns around the nest. Maybe a redwinged blackbird, but could be anything. I'll add that to my list of possible denters, though tumbleweeds have been my biggest cosmetic threat:)

I didn't want it to turn and try and head-butt the car so I stayed back a little bit but still got a great photo. It even stayed in the right-hand lane for the 1/2 mile or so until it turned off of the road and leaped over a fence.
You need to try this in the Custer Park or Yellowstone with buffalo. Much more exciting!

After googling, I think they were grey partridges.

I might have had that beat! I know I had most of the Pacific and Mountain time zones complete before I even knew about this thread.

I thought it meant who was the lowest in the Century Club and had the fewest posts about it. If someone's 1st post was between 100 and 134 then they beat me. neverdone made 4 posts for the 100th charger so that's why I thought mine was fewer posts (just 1) to reach the Century Club (134 chargers).

Can't decide if discovering this thread was a good thing or not :)

I feel the same way and I have only @Half Dollar Bill to blame for telling me about this back in only Dec 2017. Or perhaps, everyone else has him to blame. I'm still having a blast driving to areas I normally would not have visited.

You might get the award for the Century Club member with the lowest posting count. ;)
Congrats on being 42!
Thank you.
I could have done Fremont CA but we would have been late for lunch in Riverbank meeting cousins.
And my tesla goal for this trip was to get to the Century Club.
Spending tonight in Wendover at the Best Western; will be home tomorrow.
Speed limit is 80 in parts of Nevada.
For 1 mile did 115 (passing a FedEx triple trailer that was going 80), just as smooth as 75; very nice.

Did you have any fun?

I can't drive that much... i like to sleep!
The non-interstate driving was nice - Macon to Augusta stands out.
First time over the bay bridge - long, but not quite as impressive as I thought.
Met some interesting people, including an early 60 owner.

It was a great three days but I enjoyed my other road trips more (CT to CA and CT to CO) where we did more things.

@S-19910

Alright Dirk, it's time to start planning Gaspe' to Acapulco :)

Would actually be a slightly easier trip than Nordkapp to Tarifa. Similar in length but faster highways and no ferries!

Go big or go home, @PLUS EV. Edmonton to Acapulco is 4,000 miles and from the Quebec corner (a bit past the last supercharger to extend the trip) is just a little bit shorter.

Who will be first to Mexico City?

Ooooooh, I just saw Matehuala, Mexico opened today after PLUS EV's standard "fool me once / fool me twice" post. That leg from Saltillo to Aguascalientes was almost impossible in anything other than a 100D or Model 3 LR and I don't recall seeing that in the Permit or Construction phase on supercharge.info.

I've made it to the first leg at Saltillo so the next stop is a possibility but it isn't the distance needed to cover that is the tricky part of traveling in Mexico. Don't forget to refer to my post from April and the areas to take care in when traveling to them. Here is the photo from that post.

I don't know where Matehuala falls for a travel warning but anything south of it was deemed "Reconsider travel" so I didn't plan any excursions down to Mexico City because of that.

So, @Darren S

I've always used the term "captive audience" to describe the fact that people at a Tesla Supercharger are basically stuck there for a while waiting for their car to charge and that makes them potentially good customers for whatever businesses are nearby. However, the travel advisories in Mexico would likely give that phrase a significantly different meaning...

It was definitely a slightly different experience than traveling through an unknown / unexplored area up in the US of A where I can speak the language, have the proper currency, and a few other perks. It did give me some time to try and discuss the car with one of the employees of the Convenience Store.

They spoke almost no English and I knew about the same in their language. I didn't break out Google Translate so it was kind of fun trying although challenging to describe the car with gestures and sounds (or lack of sounds that it makes), It was like a game of Charades.

There's a slight difference between "captivated" and "captured." :)

I actually mapped all those out last night too. The Edmonton route (actually I used Athabasca) is only longer because you have to go through Vancouver/Seattle to stay on the supercharger highway. Your path is missing some diversions btw. Need a small diversion to charge in Farmington and a big diversion through Junction/Laredo.

Also, we could go a little further down the coast than Acapulco. I just picked that city because most people know it. We don't quite have enough range to make it to the southernmost point in Mexico though!
