So I ordered a blue/black LR on Tuesday November 16, expected delivery displayed as March 2022 when I ordered. Just had a cheeky check in with the live chat on the off chance, expecting to be told I was being far too eager, but was told I've been allocated a car already, with a collection expected in the second half of December!

Guessing I either got very lucky with scooping up a reallocated vehicle or just happened to pick exactly the right combination of options to get one of the few that are left for this quarter...

Hey I am due to collect my Model 3 SR+ on December 6th in Manchester. I ordered in October with expected delivery of Feb 2022 so was quite surprised that it has come forward by so much!

Does anyone know about flexibility in the collection date? I am currently about to move house, and sale of my current house is providing the funds for the deposit on the Tesla. I am due to move on the 3rd December so its pretty tight and the moving date is not fixed yet so could slip. I have emailed the Manchester Trafford Centre collection centre (no other contact info besides email) but not had a response after 2 days. I am hoping to make the date, but at the very least I need to move the time back a bit due to work commitments.

Just wondering about others' experiences in changing dates/times for collection.

I also saw a couple of comments elsewhere about potentially being able to schedule a delivery instead of collection. I live in Leeds/Bradford area so again just wondering if anyone else had experience of originally only having the option to collect but then being able to change it to delivery later?

Any help would be much appreciated and thanks in advance
I read somewhere (can't remember where) that you can move the collection date by a week, after which they allocate your car to someone else. In any case it's worth giving them a call. Hope it works out for you.

Just found my VIN in the source. Is 2 days from order to VIN a new record?

Hi thanks for your reply. Sadly not no that's no really an option. If I have to lose my allocation then I can live with that but it would be a shame if I then did have to wait until Feb!

Still no response from Tesla I am wondering I its worth calling the Manchester sales & service.
I have never received a reply from email to Tesla. CS your best bet . I doubt Manchester Sales and Service would help My delivery date was changed 4x but within a narrow window

Heya all, new to the Tesla fam and forums.

I received my Vin and collection date of 11th December. Ordered 19th October SR+ white, black seats and 18” wheels.

I wondered what car I would actually be receiving on the 11th would it have heated seats, wheel and the 317mile range currently advertised on the website. I have CS a call and I had it confirmed my car is a 2021 “M” car however it will have the heated seats, wheel, matts and extra range. He did also say it would have have a 0-60 of 5.2 seconds saying I’m getting “the best of both worlds” really hope this is true!

Has anyone else had this confirmed regarding what model they will be collecting
My "delivery specialist" told me they can keep the car for an extra 7 days if things aren't sorted in time. In my case, an EST loan.

Just got a text from Tesla. Is it a VIN? No it most certainly is not.
