It isn't unusual for it to be weeks after you get your car that you get the first update.

I agree with this, I collected mine on Dec 1st and have had both the 2 recent updates already.

My first update came the day I collected the car. The update comes when the update comes.

My M3 had an update a few days after collection, my MY had an update when I collected it.

Any talk of having to wait weeks is simply not true.

The auto-cancel worked well for me on the duel carriageway on Saturday.

I also like the new position of the music player bar, and rhe fact it has all the trip energy info and tyre pressures too.

Since the update to 2022.44 I seem to be getting more ‘corrective steering applied for your safety’ with simultaneous startling alarm noises than I did before. There’s generally no obvious reason for the alarm and no apparent corrective steering applied. Have others experienced this phenomenon? Sometimes it may be related to lane markings where the line on the right hand side disappears perhaps when exiting a roundabout and on others it may be when cutting closer to the edge of the road on a left hand bend. Whatever the reason it is very disconcerting, especially for passengers.

It has been the case in the past but in the last year the updates have been coming to new vehicles quite quickly.

No. I mentioned this in an earlier post, but I shall rehash. The Tesla / MyQ integration appears to link into a US based subscription service provided by Chamberlain/MyQ. This service isn’t available over here, which would explain why it doesn’t show up as an option in the car.

Shame, it was gonna import one of the openers.

I’ve found 44.25.2 to be much more irrational when on autopilot. Auto lane changes are again slower, it doesn’t phantom brake like when I first bought it, but does come off and on the power in this iteration - granted weather has been pretty poor today and on Friday everything was covered in thick black road salt. It also sits much closer to the left of the lane than it used to. Preferred the lane positioning and autopilot as it was on the last version.

I do like the new Nav layout and the music being closer to me. New dance is cool and my 5 year old can now remote fart at mummy whenever he chooses! Not fussed by Apple Music as I’m using Spotify.

Got the update and all generally fine. Don’t like it reset my Spotify preferences (shuffle etc) but obvs that’s minor. Appears sonic has gone (shame as my daughter wanted to play it)

Sorry, I mean the car stopped the accelerator from doing anything. It just briefly became a dead pedal with no resistance. The car took complete control.

If the computer commands friction braking (rather than just regen) then you will generally feel the brake pedal physically move. It's just how the brake servos work. Same on all cars. Of course, unless you have your foot on the brake pedal at the time you won't notice.

Check you don’t have a game download waiting. I did as soon as the Xmas update was downloaded
