How do we explain the equalizer change? Was it always ±8dB and it was mislabled to 12, did they limit the controls, or did they change the underlying filter library?
I only had 2018.6.1 for four days before updating to 2018.10.4. I thought the AP in 6.1 was slightly better than 2017.50.3, but nothing dramatic. Tonight I get to drive 200 miles and will thoroughly test 10.4.
Big question is....How is the sound quality with the latest 10.4 update? Any noticeable difference?
If you open the Tesla app and scroll to the bottom, it will show you.Uhhh ... I was current. Someone tell me what my last version was, please.
It won't show me what version I was running before. If you open the Tesla app and scroll to the bottom, it will show you.
Oh... I see. TrueIt won't show me what version I was running before.
Here you go: Software Update 2018.10.4As I see these post I'm wondering where are the s updates. I haven't had an update to autopilot in a long time and it is still next to useless on anything but interstate highways. I am really disappointed after a year of this. No change from the first time they turned it on.

I’ve been on that bridge, in a Model S and on a motorcycle. What you showed in your video is very impressive!Annnnndddd.... it now navigates the extremely narrow Hood River bridge that I cross several times a week. Note that the proximity sensors are solid red the entire way across.
Wow. I drive Hwy 17 a few times a month, usually in my Roadster. Can’t wait to try my X on that road in AP using the latest firmwareAutopilot drove me down HW 17 in California today. One of the most dangerous highways in (California).

I post regularly on ev-fw so I always go back to that when I need a memory refresh or want to see the time intervals between fw updates. It won't show me what version I was running before.
If you're on 2018.2, I'd highly recommend talking with Tesla support or your service center. 2018.6.1 was supposed to be a wide release, at this point being left behind makes it highly likely your car failed to download the update somehow.Still on 2018.2 with no update yet model S
