There was a hold due to EPA certification that is rumored to be over March 8.

Tesla no longer makes the battery packs for legacy model s. My 2020 battery died and they gave me a used battery that had degraded 10%. Very disappointed.

As of today, the retrofit is not yet available.

Tesla asked me to run battery to 20% then charge to 100% and reboot. If that does not return the mileage then I will have to take it to a service center.

Had pack replaced after 1 month with about a 10% reduction of range. Having a frustrating time contacting Tesla about this.

Received a remanufactured battery after less than 5 weeks.

I was told it would take 4-6 weeks for the battery to calibrate and I was told if Milage does not increase I should contact Tesla.

You are correct and I have call in to Tesla tonight expressing my dissatisfaction.

Warranty states they will replace the battery if below 70%. I suspect they limit the charging capacity of remanufactured batteries.

Battery replaced but with 35 miles less in range.

It is at the Merritt Island Causway service center. They offered to ship it to Delray but I would still have to drive there to return the loaner, so I told them to do the repair.

My battery pack died an hour and a half from home. The car was towed to a Tesla service center and I was given a new model 3 loaner. I have less than 25,000 miles on my 2020 model S. I was told it could take months to get a replacement pack.

I have the same problem with my 2020 Model s. Parts are on order and planned repair in replacing both half seats next week.

When I traded in my RX450h for a model S, Tesla took Carmax trade in value, which was a few thousand over Tesla’s.

Update: Tesla came to my home, removed the front license plate holder, checked the tires, filled washer fluid at no charge.Thank you Tesla!
