I own a LR RWD M3 that I took delivery of in March early 6500ish VIN. I don't want to lose the $7500 tax credit so I was going to order the second by tomorrow night. Some questions and concerns:
1. Drove my neighbors PM3 and WOW its nice but I cannot justify the 14k difference up front.
2...
WOWZERZ!!! Musk announced a tonight the Performance Model 3 AWD with every feature but autopilot for $78k, adding AP means $83k which number sounds horrible for marketing for a car which was meant to be the mass market affordable EV. Compared to my current M3 which was $57,500, an extra $26,500...
Took delivery of my 18 M3 this afternoon. The hood had slight misalignment on the right, and the whole car outside felt very hard vs waxed.
Delivery rep was very ill informed and constantly assured me Auto pilot would not work until future Software update even though I bought it. He was wrong...
Many people have had cosmetic issues interior issues etc. What should I look for? If any issues should I still take delivery and let them fix later? What if I notice issues after delivery? All the help is appreciated
So I cannot believe i never noticed on my pro forma statement from Tesla rep in NV that the 6546 VIN is actually a 2017 model which is causing me now loan issues since it is a model year older and plus will effect resale value, I am very considering i was sure I read other VINS on here that were...
So I had two reservations, one which I will take delivery for at the end of the month God willing, and the other I was going to wait for P version, in any case my second reservation like my first said it was ready to configure and I can configure now or hold, I did neither for the time being...
will car start being made or not till I'm done? I own a used car business and not sure if I can put it in my business name to save tax since it would be dealer to dealer. I'm an LLC so would still get tax credit
Is it worth $9k to get 90 miles more? Is there other differences? Does not seem so and seems pricey. My fear is this price may drop.
Are most people getting SR or LR? It's like I want the car now bad so LR but $9k is a lot.
Thinking to take one now and one later when they offer a P version and then sell the original. I cant imagine this will depreciate too much considering the waiting list. Is anyone else in my boat?
In all reality there are very few cars I actually purchase, anything brand new I usually always...
Why is there so many on eBay at close to what most of these people paid? Buyers remorse or even employees either way, I am so lost!
I wonder if its a concern. Debating between black and white exterior.
So I have been checking this once every coupe weeks since it said Feb-April of 18, tonight I was surprised to see I can configure the car and take delivery in 4 weeks!!!! WOWZERS!!!! Beyond excited.
So I am thinking to get the nicer wheels, debating autopilot but I do like it, so I cant seem to...
I know the point is to record but I see more people on this forum mention having dash cams and some rear cams on Tesla then any other brand, what is the reason? Which is a good brand to get?
Another words will there be a ludicrous mode option later? I am in Florida my delivery date is January to March for 310 mile car however I want a faster option, should I wait or will this be available via software?
I am very surprised this is not at the top of the boards. I thought having unlimited miles on the model S is HUGE, not sure of the X is like this or not.
I noticed online some users have a updated UI which looks real cool and more rounded different icons, cannot seem to find anything about what it is or how to get it? Any help please?
Is there an easy way or any vin decoder that may detail weather or not a vehicle has the launch mode on a particular model S or X? What year did Ludacris come out and what years was insane available? Thanks gang
Majority of the cars I see have pano, I noticed pano has great headroom too. How desirable is it having a car with no pano roof? or is it more price dependent?
I am sure this is a common issue but seems like its hard to drive this car normal without gunning the pedal most times, range at full charge on p85 shows 245 miles but I regularly only get about 115-135 with gunning it often but not constantly. Is this normal? Cause wow that SUCKS IMO....
I was told the Tesla uses the same plug as a dryer at home but my dryer plug has three prongs the tesla plug I have has 4, so does that mean it definitely is a different type of connector? Charging from a regular wall plug its literally like 3 miles an hour with this car being dual charger...
I just read a couple posts on people who got into fender benders and OMG it has me freaked out and angered. I own a used car business and recently bought a Tesla S to drive around for a few to fix my itch and eventually sell it since I have a model 3 on order.
I deal with body guys repair...
2013 Model S P85 Dual Chargers, Rear Facing Seats, Upgraded Sound, Tech Package, Glass Pano, Carbon Fiber Trim, 19" wheels even though car came with 21" but now has 19" 82k miles, whats a good price for this car in good condition?
I have a model 3 on pre order and looking to get into a used model S, certain things I wonder as I look at the used car market.
There was a 2014 Model S 60kw base with 32k miles that sold for $47k I thought that was a good deal.
However there are 2013 model P85 with lots of options with miles...
Being that I am a numbers guy, I would love to own a Tesla with like 100k plus miles since it will still have warranty on the two most pricey parts, battery and drive train. No actual engine so less chance of stuff going bad, do a lot of owners agree who may have higher mile cars?
Hello,
New to the forums, have a model 3 on pre order but really anxious get into the Tesla game so currently have 2015 Lexus GS 350 F sport on lease and willing to get rid of my lease early if I can get into a model S early.
