You guys... its not a new light that was supposed to be in by Q1.. he meant "new light" as in, we'll put less things in the car after Q1 and it will get lighter!
Website doesn't mean much until you actually see it in production vehicles. Tesla is well known for adding and removing "features" without updating the website.
In all honesty it’s probably just lazy UI design than a prediction anything will happen. These aren’t actual photos of cars but renders of varying parts based on user selection. They quite possibly updated the headlight image for the MYP but didn’t differentiate it from the LR. Or it could be they had intentions to change the lights but then reversed that decision and never updated the renders. Or it could be something else. “No rhyme or reason” seems to be Tesla’s motto.
I can guarantee that any new headlights in the LR will be plastered everywhere on this forum when the first one is spotted.
