Yes, excited...I've had an order down from day one and I'm an existing Tesla owner
I would have never gotten a P Model by the boss (at home), but a P in a 3 is a highly likely outcome....
As the song says:To P or not to P, that is the question.
Yep, and the teething issues will be long gone. The only consolation of the delayed RHD release is that we will have lots of choice when it does arrive here.
$US78000 + AP = $US83000 = $A111,000 + freight = $120,000 + tax = $AU150,000 ummmm!Just think my dreams of performance model 3 died. 73000 usd so landed here around $110000.
At that price might as well go for a MS.... Sure you wont get the P badge at that price but MS still nicer than the M3 IMO$US78000 + AP = $US83000 = $A111,000 + freight = $120,000 + tax = $AU150,000 ummmm!
Yeah, the base Model S in the US is about $75,000, and here it's about $130,000.Just think my dreams of performance model 3 died. 73000 usd so landed here around $110000.
I would love to see LCT scrapped for any pure EV cars... Pitty it will never happenWith our bloody LCT
LCT only applies to the price above $75k.Yeah, the base Model S in the US is about $75,000, and here it's about $130,000.
So I reckon the PM3 would be about $120,000+ when it gets here.
I actually think the current M3 (long range, rear wheel drive) is the perfect car for Australia. Quick as my S75D (almost), with more range, cheaper to charge (unless you're on my AGL $1/day plan ) and much cheaper. Maybe $70,000 here? With our bloody LCT it will ramp up faster if it goes higher though.
I'll still keep my S though, ooh yeah.
Yep. Hopefully M3 price doesn't go higher than that.LCT only applies to the price above $75k.
and unless the sentiment changes again in the US, the AUD/USD trending cross-rate could be substantially lower than it is today.Obviously the exchange rates could change in the next 12 months and the price could vary significantly.
