The only predictable is unpredictable for Tesla. Sorry for those just took delivery this week
Yes I got it too. $3900 for giving up a June 30 delivery slot. I’m happy with that tradeAnyone got the txt saying they will adjust the purchase to new price! It’s couple thousand dollars cheaper!
Tesla normally honours price drops and doesn’t increase prices from your order agreement. It’s kind of their thing.I know Tesla has done this before. What is the process now? We just wait for the invoice to be updated?
Also, if they raise the price again a few days later (Which also has occurred before) do we keep the lower price?
Just sounds to good to be true.
Just took delivery on 28/06 and missed the opportunity of getting a 6k rebate in QLD.OMG No wonder Tesla was pushing the 30 June deliveries so hard.. there was a $4k discount on its way which only the top brass knew about. This is why we shouldn't laugh at owners listing their 2022's for more than new list price, the poor souls on here who took delivery just this week gone have immediately lost $4k relative to anyone who picks up their car next week.
For all grievances please shake your fists in the air on Twitter. Don't forget to pay for the blue mark first otherwise Elon won't even read it.
Tesla have plenty of history at destroying owners value by reducing the price….then increasing it and then reducing it again. The worst was those that purchaced the premium fastest model X. Tesla reduced the price around 40% overnight.OMG No wonder Tesla was pushing the 30 June deliveries so hard.. there was a $4k discount on its way which only the top brass knew about. They settled on "final invoice" that was given to them.My finance has already settled,
Rocketman hs previously said Cybertruck is too big for international markets. He also said IF Tesla were to make one for the international market it would be a smaller version.2 Door Cyber Truck manufacturing coming to Australia.
Yep, got revised order agreement and another 6k off!Got the price reduction text even though we already received an $8k discount on inventory stock. Will be happy if we get another 3.5k off as it will wipe of LCT altogether!
How was it possible to get it below the LCT value of $89,332? The cheapest inventory performance car still sits at $92k+Yep, got revised order agreement and another 6k off!
With inventory stock discount, today's price drop and elimination of LCT, I have saved over $18,000 on last month's price for a Performance
Same here, settled in May but pickup in July.My finance has already settled, it’s a novated lease. Is also received the SMS. I wonder how they will refund the $3900 my finance company overpaid? Anyone else in this situation?
Inventory stock discount was another $8k here in SA last month. How was it possible to get it below the LCT value of $89,332? The cheapest inventory performance car still sits at $92k+
Having finally taken delivery of my October ordered MY RWD a week ago (and having been royally screwed by the price drop), I suggest avoiding spending extra on your car. But the cheapest variant you can be happy with. Also take a moment to consider other cars coming onto the market.Decision time for me once again. Retain the Model Y long-range, or go with the SR and save at least $16,500 (price delta + WA govt rebate)
