I am in the same configuration as you been at 100 for the last month and on 4.5.3 with advanced.Pure speculation here (and I'll explain what I'm thinking), but let me start with a question.
Is there anyone in the US with a Safety Score of 98 or higher that is also not currently an active FSD Beta tester (you've hit the button, but you aren't in yet) with software newer / higher than 4.5.3 that also has their software update preference set to Advanced?
For example, I have all the above mentioned ..... I've hit the enroll button, have a current SSB of 99.22 for the past month and a 100 over each of the past 8 days, have my software update set to Advanced, but haven't had 4.5.5 or higher roll out to me yet. What I'm speculating is that (and I can only hope I'm right) folks are stuck at 4.5.3 because they will get FSD 10.11 Beta sometime in the coming days and having 4.5.16 would have impacted that.

I'm still baffled by the fact that Tesla does not have an official webpage on their website's member portal, that lists and tracks all these firmware releases.
If only it were that easyDone, starting checking your App every minute and it will show up.
I'm currently using beta 10.10.2 on my drive from VA to Death Valley with 3,141 miles on it so far. Like all have said, it's not perfect but damn it's a better and safer driver than me.What are the chances that one will actually be able to drive across the US/Canada border using FSD or using FSD in another country?
You must be terribly embarrassing to ride with and have a horrible driving record with an accident or 2 every dozen or so miles of intercity driving.....Like all have said, it's not perfect but damn it's a better and safer driver than me.
I think OP is mostly referring to AP on highways than FSD.You must be terribly embarrassing to ride with and have a horrible driving record with an accident or 2 every dozen or so miles of intercity driving.
3,141 miles on Beta and ALL of it on the AP stack. Doesn't seem plausible to me.I think OP is mostly referring to AP on highways than FSD.
AP definitely keeps lane better than humans do (no fatigue), assuming clear conditions and decent markings.
@tholly I’m the same as you and D101, except I’m also at a 100 SS and I’m on 2022.4.5.16 (so I’m one FW release *ahead* of this new beta software). I’m pretty pissed right now.I am in the same configuration as you been at 100 for the last month and on 4.5.3 with advanced.
OP will have to clarify - but as with long road trips, most miles would be on AP / NOA …3,141 miles on Beta and ALL of it on the AP stack. Doesn't seem plausible to me.
I'm not sure Death Valley is the best place to test FSD-beta.........just sayin'.........I'm currently using beta 10.10.2 on my drive from VA to Death Valley with 3,141 miles on it so far. Like all have said, it's not perfect but damn it's a better and safer driver than me.
I think they have a list of influencers they send to + a few thousand they pick according to some criteria / algorithm. No, actually I used to get my updates late, I'm surprised that I am included in the first batch.
I’ve no idea how they selected all those YouTubers early on. Many of them were unknown in the Tesla community before they got the FSD !I'm not a big enough influencer haha. I don't have the big update yet either
I think that many of them were leaders in the local Tesla owner's clubs.I’ve no idea how they selected all those YouTubers early on. Many of them were unknown in the Tesla community before they got the FSD !
That would make the most sense.I think that many of them were leaders in the local Tesla owner's clubs.
It could also be just the opposite. They just happened to be guys who got into the beta early, and they started posting videos. Considering the small number of beta participants and the large amount of interest, it would be no surprise to see that they could build a Youtube channel using that as a starting point. That would make the most sense.
