Haven't tried. Scared itll reset my order lol
Valid, but there's a confirmation screen at the very end that you have to agree to before it submits any changes to Tesla. Apparently this link should redirect you to your account once your car is being built, but it shows the configurator with your options before then.

Mine shows this since I just placed the order yesterday.

I've placed an order on 5/18/2019 and I still don't have a VIN yet. Getting a little nervous as I'd like to take delivery of the car before the Federal Tax Credit cutoff. Should I reach out and message Tesla or just keep playing the waiting game?

I would reach out. If my experience has taught me anything, you have to follow up with them and stay on top of your order. All of the information I’ve received I’ve had to ask and call to get (except the VIN, they texted me that)

My initial order wasn’t updated to RWD until I called and asked them to make the change. My order also wasn’t scheduled for transport until I called them and asked where my car was and what the status was. Surprise, next day they had put in transportation request.

It’s redirecting me to my homepage. If the car is being built, do we know at what point the VIN gets assigned?

Mine redirects me to referral homepage.

I had the same exact question with Advisors at Fremont when i called few weeks back. They told me that when the car is FULLY available, i.e. car rolls off the assembly line, which includes Quality Control, the VIN is assigned to you. He said, if you're paying cash, you can actually get it the same day from Fremont, depending of course, on when your VIN shows up on your account, or if you get a Text or Email from Tesla. So once you get that VIN it's pretty fast to get the car when you are local/close to Fremont. If you're not, then, there will be additional time for shipping to final destination.

Maybe a dumb question, but who are you reaching out to? I've corresponded with with a delivery specialist via e-mail. I've also touched base with the local delivery team.

I'm going to go ahead an guess that the one's that can't modify design anymore have either a VIN assigned are on the short list to be assigned soon.

Anybody have the top speed and 0-60 stats for the LR RWD that tesla was putting on their site before it became off menu?

I’ve spoken to various delivery specialists at my store. It doesn’t seem like I have had one consistent point of contact.

I’m going to actually call them today when they open to see if they can see if my car has left the west coast.

I hope that's true (sorry James88). But not entirely sure. I always wonder if it's like a caching issue or something, maybe those that can edit had to log in and takes them somewhere else, idk.

So I was messing around the abetterrouteplanner site because I can't wait to take my first long road trip - thinking durham to rochester NY for labor day weekend. It really doesn't matter time wise to charge your car to 100% for long trip, you can just charge to 90% as usual and the time is only 2-3 minutes off.

Ha we're all checking this link. Where did you find out about it?
Found it on another thread but can't seem to find that thread again. Apparently when you're no longer able to edit your design, the car is supposed to be in production.

140 mph and 5.0 seconds, you can see it on my screenshot further up on this page. When did you order?

I ordered 5/15, still no VIN either. My delivery guy is checking in for me regularly, but no movement. I'm going to ask to see I'd he can escalate somehow. Again, timing wouldn't be so horrible if they wouldn't have communicated 2 weeks.
