No. Battery degradation scales with heat. The colder the better to minimize degradation (except when high-power charging).
I was under the impression that optimal battery temp was better during use. I know that low temp is better for calendar aging.

For comparison, first European version of new M3P quarter mile run - seems like 0.3 - 0.4s slower and 4 - 5 mph lower in speed.

Very nice. I knew someone would hit the 10.8's under the right conditions. He should upload it to the leaderboards!
I'm thinking a gutted one could probably run a 10.6, maybe 10.5 if lucky.
If you look carefully, the road he used curves to the right. Moreover the ride seems pretty bumpy. It doesn't look good, but not all may be lost. We need a proper measurement.

I trust dragy valid result more than you say call time measured at "real track". Downhill? Sure, it's -0.57% so negligible in a quarter mile.
Yes, and it also matters where the slope is. Launching on a downgrade will help a lot more than a slope on the top end.
The real track, perfectly horizontal, was also with a dragy, and showed lesser results, so I don't see your point why we should "trust" the one with the slope...
I did some calculations, and a 0.2 second difference in 1/8 mile and 0.4 seconds in 1/4 mile are too big of a difference to be explained by the jump from 460hp to 510. That's only a 10% difference in hp.
For example, the average g force of the Panasonic version between 60 to 100mph (3.8 sec) is 0.48, while for the LG is only 0.41 (4.42 sec) . That's a 17% difference in g force that came out of a ~10% hp difference??
