They made me update the miles on the trade-in yet again (3rd of fourth time while we wait). Did your value drop due to age of car or did you add miles, you think?
Zooming in, I see that this is indeed a MFG plate. So another rogue tester.
happened to me twice already.... annoying isnt it.Welp. My Trade-in value has officially dropped by $1,000. New Trade-in expires May 13th.

Have you tried pricing your trade on any of the third party sites? KBB.com and Carvana.com offered the best pricing for me, substantially more than the trade value from Tesla and it is a cash offer. The used market has skyrocketed recently, so no excuse for your offer dropping. The offer on 3rd party sites has gone up from $24K (100K miles) to $30K (107K miles) in the past 5 months for a 2015 Escalade in Northern California.I don’t believe it’s the age and if it’s the mileage, I only added around 700 miles since the first trade in was offered (February 2021).
I just ditched my trade in when they asked today. Selling to carvana instead once I get it. I'll have to redo my financing though ugh but not till that expires.Have you tried pricing your trade on any of the third party sites? And your future Model S now has 700 fewer miles on it... and will be at least 3 months newerI don’t believe it’s the age and if it’s the mileage, I only added around 700 miles since the first trade in was offered (February 2021).
So is my cash sitting in a bank account for the last 4 months as I was orginally told my delivery would be December 28th. :-/Reminder... vehicles are a depreciating asset. As such, as time goes by, their values decrease.
have you calculated your loss due to inflation? So is my cash sitting in a bank account for the last 4 months as I was orginally told my delivery would be December 28th. :-/
Well if your car had been delivered on time it would be down $2,000 by now, so they saved you money!Welp. My Trade-in value has officially dropped by $1,000. New Trade-in expires May 13th.

Saw my first S refresh an hour ago while dropping off M3 at Tesla service in Fremont (Kato Rd)! A red refresh S with mfg plate, no badging. Pulled into Tesla Engineering building next to service center. Might need to do some snooping when I pick the car up
I walked all around the service center lot hoping to find one, but nonewe need more interior pictures.....and maybe try to test drive it!!
