After one week I finally picked up my car from the PPF shop. Here are some quick shots! (sorry about the wide angle rear shot, there was no space)

Work done at 405 Motoring in LA.
- XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF (full body)
- Ceramic Pro PPF (2 layer ceramic coat)
- Ceramic pro wheel and caliper (1 layer)
- XPEL Prime XR Plus (35% side and rear, 70% front)
- Blacked out badging

And now it's installing the new software update that supposedly breaks the driver door release lol, but at least the suspension will be tuned…

I think South Carolina is the worst, got a ticket when speed limit dropped from 45mph to 35mph and I was going at 40 as I was being followed by a cop car for about a mile. This was near Clemson. I think speeding tickets are major source of revenue for these small towns. And all liquor stores close at 7 pm with no alcohol sales on Sunday, WTF !
we got more issues than these listed here.....

I messed around with the audio last night, to try and improve the sound quality. I agree that this system probably needs a sub-woofer and amp installed. My wife's 2011 Highlander sounds way better than my new Tesla sound system. She smartly pointed out that Tesla does not partner with other companies, like the big auto manufacturers do. So while I got a bunch of speakers installed by Tesla, she got a JBL sound system designed specifically for premium audio in her vehicle. That makes sense to me. Anyhow, I found a setting that at least lets the bass punch on certain frequencies. Here is my setup:

I think they installed a subwoofer OTA in 2021.32.5. DEFINITELY sounds better.

Uniden R7 (and I also have an Escort Max 360 in another car if I ever need to revert back). No need for radar integration with the AL-P. I've had some sort of radar detector throughout my years since I got my license at 16. I'm 52 now and have probably gone through 15 radar/laser detectors in my lifetime.
I have the Max 360 in my truck and I have a Redline on the way for the Tesla. Supposedly it's better at distinguishing between "car radars" than the others. I too have used MANY, probably 10-15 in my lifetime also. About your same age I guess.

I have a long time friend who is an executive with Tesla, he assures me there is no Priority Production Planing List In spite of what may have been communicated.
And I've been told there is NO "EOQ Rush" either. Yeah, okay. Don't know what to believe from anyone at Tesla! They really do march to the beat of their own drum, and there's NOTHING "mainstream Corp America" about them. They're awesome in some things but boy do they F'ING SUCK at so much more! I hope they make some nice changes to make them a BETTER COMPANY for the future. 🤔 🙏

Looks awesome! Do you know if they removed the spoiler, Tesla T, Plaid badging and side repeaters when they wrapped your car?

Sweet. My exact same color and wrap package being done right now.

Question: with Xpel’s precuts, did you find any seams that you didn’t like? White shows the seams the most after dirt accumulates, hence the ask. Also, did your detailer wrap the black window trim?

Does anyone know if it’s possible to limit the speed in the new Tesla app? Previously it was in controls but I don’t see it in the new version.

I want to limit the speed to 20mph when I give it to the detailers, after it gets delivered that is
Well, I'm not sure personally in the new app, as the Google Play Store still hasn't released the new Tesla App for Android. ☹️ But try under "Security." I believe I saw it there in a video. And, just so you know, the Speed Limit mode range is 55 to 90mph. But it locks it in Chill Acceleration, so that helps massively.🙂
