Is it really called a "change tray" btw? That would be funny to me given it's a car that you can drive with basically just your phone, but there's also an expectation that these same people would be carrying around coins. Can't remember the last time I used coins (or cash, tbh).

It isn't a deposit. It is an order fee. So they add $250 to the price, and then apply the order fee payment.
You pay the $250 for the privilege of placing an order.
No, it is not. It's another fee, just like the $1,200 destination & documentation fee.

I read yours as the payments / credits are on the left, and they add up to the totals on the right. Is the big number on the left not what you paid as a balance? (I notice the $750 on the left is obscured by the marker) On mine, it is what I paid and the left column adds up to the right column.
Yes, your order fee and any incentives will apply at final due total. 250 was subtracted from my total.
