Confirmed on 6/29 and still haven't started production... Going on a 2 month wait with no movement. Since I ordered the car they've made 0-60 changes, premium package changes, the description and price for my vehicle on myTesla has changed multiple times, started building model 3's, dropped the price on model X (which may have swayed me). They claim I'll get what I ordered... 0-60 increase included, no air suspension but a la carte premium audio and subzero. I probably should have switched my order to get air suspension, but I would have had to pay a bit more to get the new premium package. The reason I didn't switch was because I thought I would get the car quicker... now I'm not so sure. I still show a late August delivery but get a chuckle overtime I log into myTesla and see that it hasn't started production. Oh well... I'm sure I'll be happy when I get the car. Sorry for the rant...

Well... Car started production on 8/21. Elon must have heard me venting...

Also, my delivery guy sent me my MVPA and it shows Air Suspension and Premium Interior LED lighting on a June 29 Confirmed car. I was told I was not going to get the "new standard features" but it appears that I am...

That's super interesting. Did you ask for the mvpa or did they just give it to you? Also did you end up getting the $1000 showroom discount along with sas and premium interior lighting; or was it one or the other?

I also confirmed 6/29. Car is still in production, been about 5 days. My delivery estimate just changed from Sept 1 to Sept 15th to Aug 25th to Sept 8th...looks like they expect a pretty fast delivery after production then. Hopefully yours will be the same

Interesting. I just put in a request to order a 75D today and estimated delivery in Late September. That is 5 weeks.

That is the **soonest** possible date that a delivery **could** occur. Meaning you live right next to Fremont and you get lucky with everything progressing smoothly. When I ordered, it said late august but now I'm looking at early September as it's gotten closer.

I was given the MVPA without asking for it. It shows the 1K referral and 1K showroom discounts. It also specifically calls out the SAS and interior lighting line items. I had asked if I was going to get them a few weeks ago but was told I would need to re-order. I'll believe it when I see it...

I learned quickly that Tesla builds and delivers vehicles to maximize their (very) public quarterly results. Building and shipping international first, then domestic. There are exceptions to that rule, but they generally seem to follow that cadence.

Just got notice that my Model S 75D is now in production. Ordered from the Oakville Ontario location on July 15, Confirmed July 18, Production Started on August 23. The "My Tesla" page still estimates a "September-Early October" delivery, but hopefully this will be more specific once my car is in transit.

I noticed yesterday on the Order Tracker Spreadsheet that a couple of people who ordered after me have already had their cars produced, so I emailed my delivery specialist for an update and he said mine was pushed back from the original production estimate of Monday August 21st to sometime the following week. He then said that he had "marked my vehicle as High Priority" to possibly expedite the delivery stage, but it seems like this also expedited my production timeline as well - unless it's just a coincidence. I heard that it can take up to 4 weeks for delivery to Ontario, so I guess I'm looking at around September 23rd but hopefully my "High Priority" status can expedite that. :)

I'm pretty sure that if it's located on the final mvpa then that is official and by some means legally binding (not a lawyer, take this with a grain of salt). Excited to see what you end up getting. My car has finished production and is in transit; still haven't gotten the mvpa yet though.

I am new to the Tesla family. My car is supposed to go into production next week, for early September delivery. I can imagine a mvpa is some sort of final bill but am unfamiliar with this term.

Can someone please let me know what mvpa stands for and what it actually is.

I'm really disappointed today. Spoke with DS and she has said I'd be receiving my 75 prior to sept. When I put deposit down I was told I'd also get it prior to sept as I wanted it for my friends bachelor party.
Ordered MS 75 premium black AP2 FSD.
Ordered July 10. Confirmed July 13. Went into production August 17th. I'm in so cal. I asked DS if I can pick up at any location that'll speed it up, as I'm willing to drive.

I am confused, it sounds like they promised it before September and they said you're getting it brfore September, so why Is there disappointment?

Just to add data to the cause:

  • Order confirmed 8/20- 75D
  • At time of order and confirmation the delivery estimate on the design studio was "Late September".
  • After order confirmation the "mytesla" page estimates "Late September - October".
  • Unsolicited estimate from the delivery specialist is:
    • Scheduled to go into production the week of September 11th.
    • Estimated delivery by the end of September.
  • Delivery region: Ohio
I'm taking these estimates with a big grain of salt as that seems awfully quick, but I'll remain cautiously optimistic....
