Got the entered production email today!
Confirmed 1/31, 17 days from confirmation to production. Seems kinda quick, but maybe they bumped me ahead since I'm getting one of the last 85D's. Hoping for end of Feb delivery since it shouldn't take too long to ship to Oregon.

Now the really tough wait begins!

I confirmed the day after you, so maybe I'll get my email tomorrow! I was wondering the same thing as you: are they expediting 85's to get them out of stock?

Thats pretty much the consensus. A few members posted who ordered 85s before they took it out of the design studio said their DS said they need to take delivery before the end of march or else they would need to upgrade to 90kw for $3k

Ugh! My confirmation was 1/30 but I haven't received production notification yet. Mine is also an 85D, and I'm also a Pacific Northwest location. Maybe tomorrow? Then again, my DS told me to expect a mid-March delivery although she had no real data.

I ordered one of the last 85Ds on 12/31. Originally I told them I preferred a May delivery, but I called right before they discontinued the 85s and asked to have production moved up. I then got a call from them trying to sell me on the 90 upgrade and when I refused, they told me they wanted the 85s all delivered by the end of the quarter so they would be moving up the delivery date (I guess my request got crossed). As of today, still in the production queue and they are telling me an April 1 delivery. So far no rush on my car as being one of the last 85s.

Aww man. What chance does the 70Ds have toward the end of the quarter then? Probably next to none. Here's hoping.

Thanks!

Ive had the NEMA 14-50 outlet installed for a couple weeks now. That part is ready to go. Bigger problem is that we need to get the motorcycles sold and out of the garage to make room for the Tesla to park! Anyone want to buy a Honda Shadow or Honda NT700?

Good work on the charging.... Regarding the cycles... You may want to list them in the TMC for sale forum.??

My Model S (85D) was confirmed on Jan. 30, received VIN number later that same day. Estimated delivery is listed as "late February - March".

I am TOO excited and keep watching my email for any updates!

I'm in th crane boat! I've been tracks and bothering my DS since confirmed Jan 21. I feel like a little kid.

Does anyone have any info on how long it takes for LA deliveries? I was just moved to "in production" today with late February-March delivery. I'm obviously hoping the sooner of the 2.

Im picking up at centinela service center.

70D ordered 12/23; confirmed 12/28; VIN 123903 assigned 12/29; estimated delivery Feb - early March. Impatiently waiting for weeks, finally entered production 2/11 and is In Transit today! DS and I have tentatively scheduled delivery in Seattle next Saturday 2/27.

Congrats!! How exciting!! I can hardly wait for it to be my turn.

i wonder how many deliveries the Seattle SC does in a day?

mine just changed to say this today

"Your Tesla has entered the factory production queue. The delivery process guide will provide additional information about what to expect along the way. If you have questions, please contact your delivery specialist."

Does that mean its starting to get produced?

Looks like they just changed the wording. Here is what mine says and I'm in production:

Your Tesla is in production. The delivery process guide will provide additional information about what to expect along the way. If you have questions, please contact your delivery specialist.

My status also changed to this at some point today. Previously the status was "Order Confirmed: Your Model S has been confirmed and is scheduled for production." Also, the page no longer shows the full VIN below the image of the vehicle, only "Model S" followed by the last six digits of the VIN.

I haven't received any email messages from Tesla or my DS indicating a status change, and the estimated delivery also remains unchanged at "March - Early April". We'll see what happens, but my DS had previously indicated that my car would enter production next week.
