I did the order entirely on line. I haven't received an email with the VIN, but it showed up on My Tesla a week ago.

Did you check your spam? Or that your email address wasn't entered incorrectly?

I did the order entirely on line. I haven't received an email with the VIN, but it showed up on My Tesla a week ago.

For comparison, our order was confirmed on 1/20, and on 1/21 I received an email with the subject, "Your Model S Has Been Assigned a VIN." Then three days later I received the "Charging your Model S" email.

That's what I got. So far, that's all that I got. I'm not complaining - just wondering.

I don't have anything from Tesla in spam.

This is probably obvious, but if you're concerned, you can call the Service Center where you're going to take delivery and ask to speak to one of their delivery specialists.

I thought about that, but I'm not even sure which service center that will be. Could be Atlanta, as it was for my aborted purchase 15 months ago, or it might be Charlotte, which is somewhat closer. Anyway, in another week or so, if I haven't heard from anyone "official" I'll call one or the other. For right now, I was just wondering if this is the typical start to a purchase.

Call HQ. They'll know your name when you pick up. They'll be able to tell you everything there is to know. If they can't, they will find someone who will. At least, that was my experience.

It's in the section called Pick Up on the right hand side.

Next ship to Europe is the RoRoShip "Tarago". Departure Feb 4 from Long Beach an arrival at Zeebrugge March 8 [emoji6] Mine is also on this ship [emoji41]

how did you find out with certainty which ship your model s is on? my DES consistently states there's no way for him to find out.

Yours is probably on a boat whereas his was on a truck not far from the factory.

I confirmed on 2/1 and have the same model and estimated delivery as you.

Delivery estimate disappeared for me. It's exactly like so currently:
Your Model S is in production. Including delivery time, your current estimated delivery is . We will notify you if this date is pulled forward or pushed back due to changes in production.

That's exactly what mine says as well. I'm betting it will be here around the 20th of this month.

My delivery estimate also disappeared. It now says: "Your Model S has been confirmed and is scheduled for production."
