Hi Buddy, Had iPhone in pocket but was so excited to see the beauty and was routing traffic around the truck blocking one lane of a windy narrow mountain road that I totally forgot.
I was set up to pick up my car at 4pm today. They called and told me there is a problem with the paint on the rear quarter panel (apparently different shade of silver). I just spoke with them again now to get an update. They are sending the car out to a local "certified tesla" paint shop to repaint the panel. Estimated pick up date postponed to next friday or saturday. Talk about a bump in the road.

Ya, i agree. I'm glad they caught it before I left. At least we know someone is paying attention. It's a weird error. A machine paints the car at one time. How the heck does one panel come out different?!?!

How did you get a scheduled production start date? Was this just something that the DS estimated?
I don't see your info on the Google Sheets. What's your confirmation/VIN date? Where are you picking up from?

You're not alone. Confirmed on 7/11, and not in production yet either.
Same boat... confirmed 7/6. Was told yesterday by DS that production would start within 7 days. Killing me...It's difficult, being super excited that others are in production but aggravated that I'm not
For what it's worth (and I know you've analyzed) I'm also tan next-gen w dark ash but I am a 90. All else identical but White paint.
