Thanks. This helps me gauge. Got my call today too, but missed it since I didn't recognize the number. It was Brandon to schedule delivery in an Oct window (Sig 258). I hope it's close to yours even though you're way ahead of me :).

Hi David,

Congratulations!!

Larry

Got my call today. Regular Sig 280. Forgot to ask for a VIN tho. Waiting for an e-mail with details.

Congrats Klaus! With at least two of us we can hold a Model S rally.

Congratulations Klaus!!

Hey, Nigel don't forget David, his sequence number is a little ahead of Klaus. He might be up for meeting you guys somewhere.

Things are getting mighty interesting. Four club members get their notification call in the course of a few hours!!

Enjoy guys.

BTW, it seems that when several people try to edit the wiki post on the first page at the same time, the second one may overwrite the first. So you may see a change you made, but then, a bit later, it is gone again (as if someone deleted it).

Probably the best way to avoid that is to keep editing times short, and thereby reduce the chances of overlaps. (I probably won't be online as much, the next few days, so feel free to add stuff).

I wish they would list VIN's. If SSL 180 is getting VIN 116, I wonder what the delta is for the two above (651 and 802). It may be pretty significant if they are getting delivery ranges in that timeframe

I think we've all been speculating for so long that we've persuaded ourselves we know how the list is constructed. What is clear is that delivery scheduling was just ramped up. (Now we can all start speculating how much/fast and start recalculating ).

Still no definitive delivery date. Earliest date was Wednesday so I think I would have been contacted already. Was hoping for this coming Saturday but that's likely not possible at this point. It's getting close though.

Wondering if it would be interesting to see whose numbers haven't been contacted that are lower than the ones shown for delivery. I know we all talk about batching, but for number S800 to get their car before some SSL or low S numbers seems disconcerting. I know I am wondering what is going on with my S105, maybe Tesla doesn't like Atlanta.

Sparrow,

No shame in calling or emailing someone at Tesla about this. I'm not sure if this is what made the difference for Adelman, but it's a legitimate question for you to ask. It's possible that your delivery will still be before others behind you in the queue, just that you didn't get a call yet about delivery dates. They can and should be able to give you (or any SSL) a date range, or an explanation why your car is coming after others well behind you. Baltimore isn't even that far from Atlanta!

BTW, I'm regular S 304 and haven't heard yet.

Haven't heard anything from them since receiving my signed MVPA for SSL# 147

I'm wondering if it is a combination of batching and regional. For example, if the delivery personnel in the Texas area are all in place, but they are having trouble getting the Atlanta area set up, Atlanta deliveries could be a little slower.
This is 100% guesswork, and I have heard nothing to suggest that. It is just pure speculation as to why the discrepancy.

Just speculation, but you could be right. There are a bunch of us in FL who all got the call the same day although our Sig#'s are 100 places apart (and we don't have our VIN's yet).

I'm Sig. 229 and haven't heard anything, either, even after emailing my "Product Specialist". :frown:

I am SSL #29, just took delivery today of my Model S with vin #26. The car is awesome, the delivery experience was great, took about an hour then I had a factory tour for about an hour and the factory is really humming. Bumped in Elon inspecting finished cars at the end of the production line, this guy is really involved. Overall it was a great experience and can highly recommend factory delivery.
