Just curious: How did you drive from Salinas to San Luis Obispo, Hwy 101 or Hwy 1? Did you check how many kWh were consumed?
We took 101 because it was really late. I would have loved to go via Big Sur, but we'll have to come back and do that later. Wouldn't have been much to see at night.
Would *love* to see photos from as many angles as possible, please! We've yet to see a production Signature in any color other than Signature Red (and one shot of the custom pink/purple).

Great looking car, my car (pearl white) was in the middle stall right next to yours, when I bumped into Elon he was over in the section of the factory where they test drive the finished cars. Did you notice how many of the cars in the line were like yours signature red? my delivery person said its close to 50% of the signature series due to its exclusivity
If you inspect the forum-name, you will see it is S1079. He used R to refer to the regular S list, not the special R production list, I believe.
His forum name is actually ModelS1079. It doesn't have to be a Signature, it could just as easily be a General Production.

Yes! Saw you and almost started chatting with you! But there was so much to see and do and you were off going too and fro as well. So close to finally meeting Elon too! Yep, lots and lots of sig red. Of course that won't always be the case!

Regarding working long hours, the people I saw seemed enthusiastic, not exhausted. I suspect people are working plenty of OT at the moment, but I saw nothing to make me concerned. The care and attention to detail was apparent in every department. We even met and chatted with a couple of them and they seemed very proud.

For those of you taking delivery of your S, can you please tell us what items are listed on your "Due Bill". It will be interesting to see how many things they are completing and adding to the cars as the production line ramps up. We still haven't seen the mysterious sun shades for the panoramic roof yet.

Just got a call from my delivery specialist in the Dania Beach store. My Model S, Sig #422, will be delivered between 9/28 - 10/12.
He indicated that he'll be emailing delivery paperwork to me within a few days, that I can pay the balance left on the car via EFT or a personal check (a surprise), that TM's relationship with Automation for trade-ins in FL is still evolving but that he'll follow-up to make the process as easy as possible. He also said that the owners manual should be available in pdf format "soon."
In any event, this delivery is earlier than I expected, so I'm psyched.

422! Sweet! I'm so curious how they are batching these. You are 422 and delivery in 1 month. MemDave is SSL173 with the same (about) delivery window. What are your car configurations?

Mine is a Signature Red Performance, Pano, Spoiler, 21" Silver, White Interior, Obeche Gloss, Parcel Shelf and Paint Armor. Nothing unusual there. However, I am in Memphis and will receive from Houston. Puts me in sort of a Tesla desert with no other owners nearby which may be slowing mine down a bit. Still hoping for the early part of the date range! Calls seem to me to be batched at the end of the week. Last week about 85 seemed to get the call and delivery dates were 2-3 weeks out. Seems like a lot more got the call this past week and delivery windows still in the 2-3 week range. Good Luck! Should be very soon now.

Congratulation to all Sigs getting the delivery date call and more so to those who've already picked up the car!
A question to all of you: for those ordering the child jump seats, have you gotten any confirmation if these will come installed at time of delivery or are they still part of the punch list items, pending delivery/installation some point down the line?
