Manufacturer Tesla cars on weekends, too?
What shift are they working in the Tesla factory? Fun to Know
Are they manufacturing about 2000 Model S per week now ?

I think they are going to working around the clock - to try to deliver cars before the end of the quarter...I am not sure how long it will take for production - but the long part after is SHIPPING... I am no the East Coast - so its long journey....
Don't forget, when running at capacity the Tesla factory spits out more than 2000 cars/week now. I assume Thanksgiving (next) week will be slow or shut down but they should make most if not all of these deliveries by year end.
It seems that production is humming along quicker than Tesla has communicated to us. Hopeful that our delivery time frames will be quicker than we thought!
I confirmed my ms60 November 07 and it have a bit of travel to do before it reach me here in sweden. Estimated delivery Februari - early Mars. Can't stand the waiting, I want it now =). I heard that the car will travel by train to New York harbor then off to Tilburg in the Netherlands for final assembly. Can anyone confirm it?
Would also be nice to know which ship it will be shipped with so I can follow the ship to the Netherlands with marinetraffic.com =)
I got a call from my DS saying my car just rolled off the assembly line. Caught me off guard since my status online still has not changed. I placed my order on 10/2 and requested a Dec delivery.
Hopefully I can still get it in December. Otherwise I lose a thousand dollars of the Colorado tax credit and then have to wait an entire year longer to get both the federal and state credits. I originally had earliest delivery chosen but delayed it from June to October and then to December when I heard rumors of AP 2.
I confirmed on Nov 11th, yet my dashboard still just says: "We are processing your order and will provide an estimated delivery date." So no change for 11 days. Am I just being too keen? I see stories of CA customers ordering and taking delivery in about month (best case), so had thought I'd at least get a VIN assigned or an estimated delivery. I'm UK based if that makes a difference.

Minor difference, but I believe that while the Colorado tax credit moves from $6000 to $5000, it also moves to being an instant rebate, so you should not have to wait for it.
