On the spreadsheet? It's already marked as such. If the end date is left blank, it's assumed the beginning date is when you actually received your car. The logic is, for those given ranges, we're assuming they'll want it in the earliest date of their range :)

Unfortunately it doesn't really matter what we want.:crying:
Until Tesla actually follows up with you and schedules a real date, the range is just a weeks old guesstimate.

While I appreciate the logic, it doesn't always follow. I noticed in my case the end date was left off and I can no longer edit it.
Perhaps this logic works most of the time in case of factory pickup. In my case (SSL#180) my car is in Chicago and they are working with their logistics team to set up delivery. My Range was 9/20 - 10/04. So while I am hoping to get the delivery this weekend, there is no guarantee I will get it until the 4th.

It would be nice to see an additional column for actual delivery date. It would be helpful to know how well the deliveries are aligning to the previously assigned ranges.

An additional column would be nice. But at minimum, the delivery indication should change from what was reported above, IMO. Deleting the date range and showing a single "delivered" date should only happen if reported here (or at TM). Don't assume delivery has occurred because the beginning (or even the end!) of the date range has passed. I was surprised to hear that.

Thanks for maintaining the spreadsheet, Tim, especially considering the churn rate on it. Another suggestion: modify the form to accept "edits" of existing entries -- they just fill out the new data and submit and you merge. To make it easy for less tech-savvy folks, and probably less drama for you than editing a hidden page on the Google doc.

My car came on a carrier that also had cars for Houston, San Antonio and Alabama. the delivery specialist worked with me several hours then caught a plane to meet the same truck at the next delivery point.
I can see a logistical nightmare with flight delays :scared: If a specialist is chasing a delivery truck across country it could get ugly at some point.

I have it set to accept edits, but I don't think that feature is very well put together. You're only given an edit link after you hit submit, and then it's gone forever. So, unless people are bookmarking that link, they're losing their ability to edit it.

But at the same time, I have the first sheet protected because people kept messing with the data and I'd go away long enough to not be able to keep up with it. I can revert to a previous version, but the problem is you'd get a case of a bad edit followed by a good edit. And reverting to before that bad edit would erase the good edit. I suppose there are better tools than Google Docs for this, so I'm open to suggestions.

Edit: Oh, and we have a new highest VIN! 506! And we're up to 154 responses, so each now proxies 3.29 responses. They should be up to 322 S/SSL deliveries this week.
