Just got a call from DS telling me that my car is being checked out and readied for shipping. Sig#1077 has also been assigned vin#905. Delivery dates are targeted from 11/26-11/30.

That seem like very short notice. 7 to 11 days. Could you let us know when TM requested confirmation of any final details (final payment, delivery address, charger adpaters required, etc)
Kind of hard to plan a Christmas vacation without more advance notice. Not that I wouldn't cancel my plans if I knew the car was coming

A friend with a Sig reservation (not on the forums) in Florida has a delivery window of 11/21 to 12/5. No VIN as of yet. Not sure what his Sig# is, but it's definitely over 1000. Given the time to deliver to Florida, the car will have to be built by the end of the month.

Update on this delivery. VIN is 1062, and the car will be heading to South Florida shortly, so he'll probably get the car at the tail end of his window. He's getting Sig red performance with (I think) black interior and CF accents. The car will eventually be in Weston for those keeping track of such things.

Picked up VIN 916 this morning in Fremont. Really enjoyed the return drive to LA. Used the SuperChargers in Harris Ranch and Tejon Ranch. The Gilroy SC was being serviced.

Out of curiosity, did the factory folks let you know that Gilroy was out of commission? It would have been unfortunate to arrive and discover this unexpectedly when you really were depending on it.

No one at the factory knew. When we arrived, there was an older gentleman working on one of the units and he informed us that both units would be down for about an hour. Since Gilroy is only ~45 miles from Tesla, we did not need to charge, just wanted to check it out. Would have charged if it was working since we were there.

Gigemags Black Perf was delivered yesterday in Plano, Texas. I had the gift of seeing it in person. The black over black with red piping on the seats is a wonderfully subtle dash of class. I approve.

On his due bill was the NEMA 14-50 adapter. He is capturing electrons at 2miles/hour charge at home. He mentioned the 14-50 being back-ordered. Anyone confirm?

He stated his updated software had the ability for proximity detection of the door handles, but that he had not taken time to assign that variable.

Charge port was a bit sticky at first, but has since worked itself into a functional opening device.

Overall, he is Ecstatic! As an aside, the Delivery Specialist was forbidden to be present at any time of the delivery. So I went over a few of the things I had been taught by other DFW locals who have theirs. Not much to report, but another satisfied customer is born ....

What is it about this picture that just blows me away? I guess it's all that potential inside. We don't know what color, finish the car is. We don't know whose it is and yet - we know it is about to be delivered and the new owner may not. A family somewhere about to receive a car in a smock which, when unveiled, will alight a another neighborhood, workplace, town with Tesla Buzz.

This car looks better in a sheet than my Volvo does newly washed. Well, whoever is about to receive Vin 1049 - Enjoy.

Thanks - it's mine, and it's driving me crazy that it's going to take over a full week to get to me near St. Louis (even via direct-ship!) after its completion on Sunday. I have another pic where you can see the Sig red peek through, with a black, performance CF interior. Everyone around me is asking me "when are you getting it, when are you getting it?" and have tracked it through its pre-MVPA estimate of late Sept, early-Oct... to the MVPA estimate of October... to and past the original delivery window... to the next one, where it's slipping and slipping. I'm excited but I'm also having to defend Tesla (and doing my damndest at it) and its communications and logistics deficiencies.

Eagerly waiting, today I sit disappointed after my bad news (of it slipping another half a week) but I'm sure a few miles will help take that away when I finally get it.
