I'd say a screw up could be possible - it's of course changed now a single day after their earnings release for Q2. Seems like a valid day of al current orders at least somewhat, especially if they aren't producing any at the factory again right now (i.e. the lack of any in logistics lot). Either supply chain issue, or they are fixing some design flaw with the battery/car itself.Wow the delivery window updates, wow. So either they have like 100k LR reservations or they are more screwed supply wise than they have said to this point ... Wow. Maybe I should pick it up and sell it for $30k extra. Lord.
But you only have 1624 posts (I'm only on page 2697 though...)Out of my 4000 reaction score, I’m guessing at least 2000 came from you. Thank you for being the ‘Spreader of Endless Positivity.’ Cheers
I have july 29 - Aug 05I know this thread is mostly for us losers still waiting for a car, but has anyone here without a VIN had a date SO close by and had that pushed out a significant amount OR taken delivery? Again, my dates say July 30-August 7. That’s way too exciting to think I’ll get pushed back till January…
Basically, someone give me hope…

Being pushed daily. If I have to wait until next year, I'm done and never going back to tesla again.
I think I've waited long enough
Congrats! You also picked a terrible time to post this. We’re all mourning!Hi All,
Well today was my Plaid delivery day! It was the culmination of a truly wild and completely unexpected journey that all started with an order in late January and the expectation that the Plaids would be rolling out shortly after. We all know how that story played out, so no need to beat a dead horse there. I'll just say that I truly appreciate the camaraderie that I found in this thread throughout this confusing and often disenchanting ride. I am thankful for this group who made the wait tolerable and far more enjoyable than if I would've gone it alone.
I'm happy to report that my delivery experience in Nashville was smooth and easy...well as easy as picking up a car 3.5 hours away can be. This is my second Tesla that I've picked up from this location and find the staff here to be excellent. The irony of it all is that the brand new Knoxville Tesla service and delivery center just down the road from my house is about to start scheduling deliveries in the next "two weeks" or so. I never expected the timing of all that to be so close, especially since the Knoxville service center was officially announced by Elon in a tweet in December of 2018 and is just now getting up and running. Fun Fact: it is a converted former Sears Service Center. But I digress.
My car is everything I hoped it would be upon first inspection and impression. I don't have any great observations to offer at the moment, as I drove my (Tesla provided) rental car 3.5 hours there, took care of the paperwork, hopped in the Plaid and headed 3.5 hours directly back home in terrible I-40 traffic. I'll say that the sum of the exterior refresh work is very stunning in person. Also, I'm so glad I waited for the carbon fiber interior, it's what I truly wanted even though the promise of a faster delivery by switching to wood was tempting at the time. The interior is beautiful, functional and many levels above my old Model S in every comparable category. The Yoke is cool, I like it! I was a little worried about the turn signals, I don't mind those either. I had absolutely no opportunity to explore any performance capabilities, but there will be plenty of time for that soon.
Thank you for reading my tome, I'll be working on some videos for my channel soon too. In the meantime here are a few pictures I took today.

The funny part is I sold the 3 online and the purchaser was going to pick it up on Thursday. Last night I had this sense that selling it would be a big mistake so I called him and canceled it before he made his flight in from North Carolina. At the time I was thinking I made the right decision because I wasn't sure how the car would drive compared to the sporty and firm three performance but I think I lucked out in the fact I still have a car to drive.Haha. You ordered two days ago. Yea. Tesla isn't so great with estimates apparently. Something's majorly wrong if the website is showing such crazy dates now

I'm more mad that I sold my P100D in early March. A horrible decision.^ This is insane!! I worry for @sflgator and anyone who has a white interior with carbon fiber. Tesla needs to start updating everyone's existing order pages with real estimated deliveries rather than all these lies and BS. People would've bailed months ago had they known the truth.
I'm confident you're in good shape for a delivery shortly. I've been blank for a month so I'm not as optimistic about mine.I have july 29 - Aug 05

This is how it should be done... Tesla customer service is abysmal and competition is coming. For a $100 you can get the Tesla Experience. It consists of an SA typing your information into the public website and submitting your order while in a minimalistic building with pretty much nothing but a couple of chairs.
