Yes, 2.0 is the new lights, along with a few other niceties.

There. Are. No. New. Hinges. (That I'm aware of). This got completely blown out of proportion. I was saying that I'd heard that there were under-the-skin changes for refresh 2.0, and I suggested hinges. And then it blew up and people ran away with it lol!

Palladium 3.0 is Autopilot Hardware 4, and ambient lighting coming later this year.

How much later for ambient lighting? I hear FOMO calling...

I know what will happen. They will arrest him. Then quacks will come out of the woodwork do a “go fund me” for a lawyer. He’ll get off on probation. Then some publisher will write a book or story and he’ll make a bunch of $$$. Then he’ll be on dancing with the stars or the Bachelor.
I did not find this funny because it is probably true which makes me sad.

I'm in CA, so I can't speak for all situations. I asked specifically if they would insure other ICE cars in my household, and was told no.

This being Tesla, perhaps I should ask again.

For Tesla vehicle owners with non-Tesla vehicles, you can also insure your non-Tesla vehicles by adding the vehicle when you purchase a policy. For existing policyholders, contact us to add your non-Tesla vehicles to your policy.

So after having the car for 4 months, I'd like to report my experience.

First, the anc recently has been awful. I don't know what happened but it has a loud feedback whine to it. I turned it off obviously, I was hoping a software update would fix it, but I'll have tesla look into it if it doesn't get fixed soon.

Second, the customer service is terrible if you have registration issues. I'm not going to go into details as it's long, but 5 times we called about it and they said 5 times they'd look into it and each time a support ticket wasn't even created. The least they could say was tough luck, instead of wasting our time calling them over and over.

I hit a deer a few weeks into ownership. They're everywhere here, but the repair process was good, I live a very long way from the nearest repair center so it wasn't the most convenient, but all things considered it was pretty quick. Took less than 2 weeks to get the new parts once ordered. My repair specialist had some interesting things to say about certain insurance companies that don't pay out what it costs to fix them.

I absolutely love the car though. It really does feel like you're going from ancient technology to the future compared to other cars. It's so much fun and the acceleration never gets old. I'm hooked now and ordered a model 3 to replace my wife's subaru until the cybertruck comes out.

Tesla's customer service sucks though. Extremely lazy Gen z, but I'd still take the lazy youth over the scum car dealers any day.

Finally took delivery on Sunday. Most things seem fine outside of a nick below the screen but there is one thing that I was
unsure about … is it normal for the refresh to have that rear bumper stick out a little like that? My 2017 is flush but Another S on the lot looked the the same. A quick internet search showed a few cars with the same look so I decided to just take the car.

Not normal, but within spec, as any SA would say.

And follow that on The Apprendice and eventually run for President.
